Just bought 2 tickets on Stub Hub for$295 each. I paid more to get excellent seats at the Forum! So excited about this once in a lifetime experience! Now I have to get a Passport in a real hurry! Anyone know of any good hotels nearby?

priceline gave me the hyatt for $105 a night. that's where I'll be!

I wonder how long in advance we should plan to get in line in order to get a good spot… Anyone have an insight on this?

no clue, cant imagine very long - ONA tours i started a singup sheet at thje front of the line so ppl would sign their name and then from time to take REASONABLE breaks and then jump back in their spot

Got 2 General Admission tickets for the 25th! Would have liked a balcony, reserved seating but had no luck getting those! I'll be coming in from NB (Canada).

I'm a little disappointed of the mention that it will most likely be all hits (no obscure playlist as they put it)… I was hoping for something a little different.

i did see that in an article, but really how would the press know what he intends to play? and how likely is he to stick to it? a club show allows so much more improv with staging and sound than a firm arena setup.

and with back to back nights its likely one of those will be different. here's hoping.

still its been 5 years since i heard even the hits so I'll take it smile

Hits are OK, but I'd like to see some different songs, you know, maybe a little "Gingerbread man", or "The Rainbow Children", something a little jazzy for the Jazz Festival would be nice…

I'll take Hits over covers any day though!

How about The Sofitel,Loews Hotel Vogue,Le Westin, Or Intercontinental?? Would any of those be in the areas you suggested? Travel agent suggested but she has never been to Montreal! Would like to be in an area with good shopping/resturants etc..

Thanks Caped Crusader for your recommendations!

Montreal downtown is small. You can go to the Old Montreal. Nice Shopping, St Catherine Street, St Laurent Bld. You should check on google map.

Geez... I'm watching his performances on Lopez..

I'm starting to realise I'll see him in 2 days..

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Getting a headache of excitement!

Yeah, I love Graffiti Bridge movie, so what? ''Oooooooooooh Montreal, say it!''
If you can't be nice to someone on the net, you probably ain't worth much talking to in real life either.

Metropolis is on Saint-Catherines so there are plenty of spots for drinks, food, etc. It's also only a few blocks from China town where you can get some great cheap eats. It's also not far from St.Laurent which is home to lots of great places to eat as well, but they'd be a bit of a hike. Get a metro pass and you'll be able to find yourself at any sweet spot in montreal.

Sofitel isnt' that far. 1 subway stop I think, and about a 1/2 hour walk. The Delta is much closer. I know people that got the delta for like $80 CAD on priceline for that night.

FYI, the metro's last run is around 1 AM so there might not be service after the show. Montreal does have a Bixi bike program. It may be worth looking into as well.

AM I really the first to talk about the show????

I just think I have no word... no word exists for what I've seen yesterday/this morning.

It was my 1st Prince show, I was 1st row, and.....

Today, today, is the first day of the rest of my life.

I arrived at 3pm but people arrived really late, the first guy (hey Dan!) arrived at 9am!

Besides that.... We've had a 4 hour show! It lasted until 3h30am...

is there a song he didn't sing???

We got them all...

Prince, I love you man.

Yeah, I love Graffiti Bridge movie, so what? ''Oooooooooooh Montreal, say it!''

How amazing was that, wow.

Hopefully he'll come back to montreal soon, I was a fan, took me 15 years to see him perform, but now its already a drug, I need another fix!
