P.S.
The other day I was meditating and for the first time in a long time I transcended the physical plane and traveled into the ether. While I was there I saw a huge coliseum with bright colored lights and lots of sound coming from it. When I went inside there were hundreds of thousands people of all backgrounds in the stands. I moved thru the crowd while they cheered and screamed and clapped for more music. There was a tall stage, I went behind it and it opened up to a large chamber with columns and musical instruments engraved on the walls. There was an archway that read "Pantheon of the Rock Gods". As soon as I stepped inside a large figure floated over to me. It was Jimi, I totally recognized him! You could tell by the features of his face, his moustache and brown eyes. What was weird though was he didn't have an afro anymore, he had a pompadour like James Brown. With his left hand he lifted three fingers to his mouth like he's smoking a joint but there was nothing in his hand. He inhales and then lets out a billow of pungent smoke from his lungs right in my direction. When the smoke clears he is still there but now he has Rick James braids in his hair.
In a low, slow voice he asks me "Whatcha doin', man?"
I told him "I'm writing a thank you note to Prince"
His eyelids fluttered and he said "Right on..."
Jimi takes another drag, and now he's got long dreadlocks like Marley.
Then he says "Hey, will you tell him something for me?"
I said "Sure"
with smoke trailing out his nostrils Jimi says; "Tell him I said,...You the man"
Jimi inhaled from his fingers once again and started to float away, afro fully intact. As I was losing sight of him I heard him faintly say "Peace"
After that, all I could hear was the roaring crowd, yelling, screaming and stomping for more as I traveled back down from the ether to my center.
Message passed.
