Aftershow? For the shows at the Forum, where exactly are the aftershows and what are the chances/how do you get into them?

The afterhsows are in Forum Club and if you have to ask...take your self to Dennys after the concert. Unless you are drop dead gorgeous and can get a roadie to hook you up.

There are a few ways to get in
-Know someone that can hook you up with the triangular guest pass sticker -Know a celebrity that could just whisk you in -If you have a VIP band, go into the lounge before 10:45 and just hide lol -Make friends with one of the guys in the suits, wearing the head gear. I got in last night because I knew a singer there. P did not perform to my recollection.( granted, I was a bit inebriated lol) He did play the drums, spoke for a bit, and mingled for like 15 seconds. I managed to jump on stage and play the keyboard...totally oblivious to the fact it was on. What a night! Going again this evening!

Will someone who's attended an aftershow give us an idea of what its like?
~Are people dancing, talking, sitting around watching each other? ~Are there drinks and/or food? ~Are people networking and meeting other people or is everyone just standing around waiting for Prince to show up? ~How/what is the stage-to-audience configuration? ~Does Prince engage with the attendees?

I've been to 5 and Prince played once.
Does not interact with fans and completely unapproachable thanks to bodyguards.
and that's IF he even shows up.

Different setlist. Different atmosphere, vibe, dependng on crowd and venue. Much more than the OMG fam-type people. Compare e.g. the vibe between the Kopenhagen Amager Bio and Brussels Viage 2 aftershows. Aside from that it is just another concert, yet slightly more interesting. Yes, if it's all new to ya it is different. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry. | |
