I finally got my girls together for Sunday but we don't have tickets. There aren't many on Ebay as well as the broker sites. There are still loge available for the $181.00 but I didn't want to pay that for the last row in the loge no matter if they're centered or not. So my question is....do I snag up what the broker's have now or play the waiting game? I'd hate to be all dressed up and no place to go if I can't get decent tickets and this will be my only chance to see him. I'm looking for three tickets together. What do you guys think?

Tickekmaster will release "day of" tix 2 go on-sale. If you don't believe me, keep checkin todays concert....Notice how no $25 are available?...but wait til around after 2pm up until show time and see 4 urself. Trust me...I've been 7 times (all @ $25 tix price). Just keep checkin! When you see, CALL TM instead of using on-line cause u'll get better seats NJoy!

Thanks Purple Dude. I'll just keep checking. I was looking at loge 7 row n but they want 165.00 for them. Those must be the 70 dollar tickets this time. I just don't want to be stuck way up high if I can avoid it.

Only $180 & $225 tickets on TM as of 2PM. There are no CITI left at all. I have a feeling there are very few left because of a longer time for people to plan on going. Combine that with the buzz that this may be the last weekend of shows. There are also very few on StubHub, and for past shows, that hasn't been the case. There has always been a fire sale there about 5:25 PM. I saw Riser DDD go for $5.00 each. Not likely to happen today since there are only 11 tickets available. Don't give up though because at some point in time, the promoter will wave the white flag and lower what's left of today's lot. It may be worth driving to the venue if you are nearby.

I just called TM 800-745-3000 and got a Purple Pit ticket for $25. Yesterday, there some great seats Loge available online at TM for $181... I bet any of those that haven't been sold will be released soon.

It's automated but I pressed 0 to hold for a live person. Had to wait about 2 minutes to get someone on the line.

Okay, cool. Are they are to see what sections are available. I wish TM were like LiveNation and you can see what's left and choose your section.

I think so. I've read about other people talking to a sales rep who'll say, hey these $25 seats just popped up in section so and so... Last Friday I think they let all unsold seats go for $25, including VIP... Only problem is we don't know how much inventory they have left...

My guess is that the stronger the demand, the longer they wait to let the tix go cheap. So far it's almost 4pm and nothing.

But nobody's buying those pricey seats so something's got to give. I've been pulling the same $180 Loge 8 for hours so clearly they are just sitting there.

My advice to the OP for Sunday is buy some $50 seats on stubhub (fairly trustworthy site) and get in the door. Then try to upgrade or just enjoy where you end up. None of the seats in the Forum are that bad with the round stage (and none are really mind-blowing either.) Sitting around all day trying to get tickets is a bummer and the peace of mind will be worth it for you....

Though.....I have become very good at the CAPTCHA thing. I have probably "digitized" Moby Dick by now - not that I understand the whole digitize book thing....

Same here... this is the latest in the day I've seen them retain full prices, I think.

yep, latest i've seen them hold out too. they may even not offer it online and just the box office? a way to make you "work" for it? i don't know, just kind of typing out loud.

also, there aren't any tix for under $90 for sunday's show.

edit: it may not help that there probably at least 100 fans, probably more, refreshing the page or checking to see if 8 of the expensive seats are still available.

Well, the broker tickets I was looking at are all gone except for one. That is eight total within a matter of hours. All the upper sections are way overpriced at 100 plus a ticket. I just hope that Prince performs somewhere else and that my girlfriends and I are able to go. BooooooFreakin'Hoooooo!

It may be worth a try (if you're in L.A.) to drop by the box office on Saturday (if you're going to the Sunday show) and buy the tickets direct. I'm not sure this is even a possibility, so you might want to call ahead or visit the forum website, just a thought.

oh, and you have to go, even at $180 you will absolutely be glad you did.

Thanks Sweething. Does the Forum sell tickets as well as Ticketmaster? I'm probably about a 30 minutes drive from there and would be willing to go and check things out. Only thing is that, my girlfriends don't want to pay any more than 125.00 and the one said she has to be kind of close because she's blind as a bat. LOL

I've purchased tickets at the box office but not a day in advance. I'm thinking, why wouldn't they? Most venues will sell tickets to alternate shows. And you might end up with better tickets going direct? Not sure though.

I don't mind paying the $$ but when the only seats coming up are at the end of the loge section for 181 and the seats directly above that are 25.00....well...you do the math. lOL
