I'm not a medical or climate expert, but I do know something about cannabis and I've been to hundreds of concerts.

People smoke at concerts. They've been doing it since before I was born. Maybe you shouldn't be surprised and expect it.

Tell you what, do like Bill Hicks said and throw out all your music recorded by musicians under the influence. You may get to keep MOST of your Prince collection. But, anything else any good is going in the trash.

Rules, shmooles. If you want to take that "Respect your neighbor" approach (not that I personally don't) try this:

The same could be said to each and every loud-ass, obnoxious (READ: more than half the) people consuming alcohol that are in attendance. Note how well the words fit when substituted!

I agree with you on that one too of course, but since the subject was not about alchool but about smoking weed, I try to stick to the subject.

Besides, it's not because 'it's always been done that you have to expect that'

People have been killing people for centuries, does that make it any good, or expectable, or tolerable, or valuable... no, it's still against the law, like weed, period.

I keep thinking that in a public place where you'll be next to strangers for hours, everybody is responsible for everybody's good time, I think it's called being polite, or something like that. wink

If you can't be nice to someone on the net, you probably ain't worth much talking to in real life either.

You're going to equate people smoking weed at concerts to murder?!?

That's idiotic...

Explain. How is opening a topic about using drugs rude?

I find a lot of the topics on this site "rude". I don't follow them. You can do the same with this one.

Some of yall are some old assed squares..at a Prince concert no less. Perverted old ladies abound.

For real! I haven't smoked in years but would never pass judgement on someone who lit up at a rock concert no less. How lame to get your panties in a bunch. Stay home and watch Grey's Anatomy or sumthin.

Light up by all means..but does that mean people have to have smoke blown in their face?

You can smoke and be considerate which, unfortunately, many smokers are not.

But, hey! keep smokin'!

Guess I've just never seen someone literally take a puff and directly blow it in someone's face. But yeah, that would be rude.

Yeah, I wanna hear that rationale too. That's quite possible the dumbest statement I've read on the org this entire week.
