Hi there, I'm getting so excited now! Me and my other half are coming down from Newcastle. This will be my 13th Prince gig! On Sunday i will be wearing a purple vest top, black floppy hat with purple scarf and of course, my Prince jewellery.

I have 2 spare tickets for Sunday. Son and his mate were gonna come and now can't. I was starting to think i wouldn't be able to sell them.

If someone needs two tix we arrive in London tomorro so can meet up....let me know...

Does anyone have any idea whether there will be merchandise? I got some gorgeous 'beautiful night' incense sticks at the o2 and have never been able to source any more

Have fun all those already there. Anyone know what the coaches from London are like? Bit annoyed that the coaches leave at 9:30 am! Anyone know if there's subsequent departures?

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason why there are no tickets available at the usual outlets, has it sold out?

I heard it had sold out.....

It has not sold out by a long way. There are still plenty of tickets available from, for example, seetickets.com

they aren't playing anymore as their set was changed last minute from last thing to first thing when they have another gig at another festival, so they had to pull out

hey guys a word of warning, I went to the mighty boosh festival a few years ago and got stuck for about an hour trying to get out of the car park, so don't expect to be out of the car park in a hurry. small price to pay in my humble opinion.

I'm not attending, will be the first time I haven't seen Prince on Uk soil since 1988. Although granted sadly couldn't afford all 21 02 dates plus Aftershows:) Had a bad experience at a Festival last year and don't wish to repeat the process ever again. Hope it's a great show for you all, looking forward to reading your reviews and the setlist.

i enjoy meeting other fans, and in my travels i've met literally thousands of you, including literally 100s of orgers, from gigs, cellys, fan parties etc

the parties and cellys were particularly good for this, as was the o2 as there were 21 nights to meet different people

this time it's going to be a bit harder as we are in a big fucking field, and it opens hours before prince is onstage yet many of us, myself in particular, will be camped down the front with a gun and a pack of sandwiches guarding their front row spots, a territory marked by a ring of urine like territorial animals

and afterwards it'll be like an exodus evacuating the site to get back home to catch up with the eastenders omnibus we will miss when in the middle of a farm

i'll be down the front and i'll either be wearing a grey t shirt that says "prince: a celebration 7th june 2000" from the first celly, which was literally the size of a duvet cover when i first got it, but now it's shrunk to fit me (or i've gained more muscle in the last 10 years), or a black t shirt that has musicology 2004ever on the front in the cd font, and on the back in big fuck off massive letters says "PRINCE - mpls/st paul 14/15/16 june" or something like that in white on the back, like a human eye chart. i wear these as i doubt anyone else will still have one of these t shirts that fits and will be at the park, and be down the front. i'm not posting a photo in case people photocopy them and every bastard at the front turns up wearing the same as me and i'll be mortified

i'm also quite well known amongst fans, so if you want to find me, just ask other people if they know me, or have seen the described t shirts. i've also just cropped my hair right down to a skinhead (but no baldness) and will be wearing shades, so look for someone that looks like a scottish version of the rapper pitbull, but better looking, and harder, and swears more

Getting really excited now too!

Isn't it funny how we always worry about what T-shirt to wear? I'm probably going to go with the Purple Musicology tour, with 'PRINCE' on the front in a yellow '1999' font - what a bunch of geeks we are!

My Sunday's going to be really cool, as I have free tickets to the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier in the day - I'll look out for any other 'Purple Petrolheads'!

Say Hi if you see me (& my ginger-bearded guitar hero brother!)

Looking forward to tomorrow but still not sure whether to drive the (normally) 30 minute trip or take the train to Paddock Wood. Does anyone know how late the shuttle buses to the station will be running? Sorry if this has been discussed earlier in the thread, but I'm too lazy to look through all 20 odd pages.
Hope to meet some of you tomorrow as I'm coming on my own sad

21 nites was easy cuz u had 21 main shows and 21 aftershows to wear different t shirts to, so u didnt have 2 spend too much time picking as u had plenty of chances to wear your favourites

the only problem u had back then was trying to fit into the size small lovesexy t shirt from 1988. it was amusing seeing some people trying to fit into tour shirts four sizes too small

Hi, my girlfriend just sent an email to your hotmail account regarding the tickets - we're heading down tomorrow but dont have tickets yet - so very interested in taking the spare ones!

I know what you mean, got my Parade Tour T out for thr O2, not a fucking chance of getting my arm into it.

My wife wore it to the O2, so it came in usefull after all.
