what are people wearing to this?

like jeans/t shirt, or all weather clothing or what?

i mean it could be raining and cold and horrible, or it could be hot and dry

and what about footwear? wellies? or trainers or what? look at the mud at glastonbury. on the third night it's going to be the most muddiest

Yeah, on the Hop Farm Festival website it says 'Car parking is free of charge'. *Win*

I'm so excited for Sunday

so if carparking is free, do you need to show a ticket or what? i mean it's surely not a free for all. thus can you turn up on any day without a ticket and just park, or do they check you have a ticket for that night or what?

Hmm it doesn't directly say.

"Please plan your journey to allow plenty of time to get to the site, the busiest period will be between 0900hrs and 1300hrs. You will experience queues when arriving and leaving the festival site, please bare this in mind when organising our travel to and from the festival. Car parking is free of charge."

If there will be queues arriving and leaving maybe there will be parking attendants to show you where to park and see a ticket? Not sure..

Since this morning Ticketmobster is selling Prince-only tickets (http://www.ticketmaster.c...st/1039287). So for a couple of pounds less you can skip the rest of the day, get late entrance and see the show from the back or knock down everyone that has been waiting politely in front of you when you finally get entrance.

Are you worried out outfits will clash??

I'm lucky enough to have festival gear. Waterproof hiking boots, waterproof combats that zip down to shorts, waterproof pouch and lanyard, tee and pack a mac!

I just called Eventim to complain that tickets are now available for half of the £80 I paid when they went on sale, and they are now compiling a list of people who have complained which they are sending to the organisers. Therefore if everyone complains, we may get the money back they owe us!!!

You will be amazed.

Can't you check the weather forecasts when they're done?

I am not Bart but now I am amazed.

well i don't want to squeeze into my skin tight lotusflower t shirt and find there was another person in the uk daft enough to join the club and managed to get a t shirt despatched

and i didn't want to be the plonker in all weather gear when everyone else was wearing moquake t shirts and thongs, or the one wearing t shirt and shorts when everyone else is dressed for an artic expedidtion

the only other time i've been to outside gigs/festivals i've just word t shirt and jeans type stuff and trainers and luckily had a nice day with no mud, but on the third night of a festival and a 3 day event, it might not be so practicle

I just sent a form to Hop Festival asking to be refunded the difference. I pointed out that the Eventim tickets are now £50, and the Ticketmaster option is at £44.

The original sales data was incorrect and misleading on two counts.

Can you remember that story from the o2 in 2007 of the guy in front of the stage at an aftershow, with a rucksack eating ham sandwiches?
