He could be using the same stage as the The Hop Farm which is on 1st/2nd July. Seems strange to be playing Poland one night and then UK the day after though.

Nah... I've been there the stage is pretty small. Just one of those usual festival stages. I reckon he'll play someplace like Leeds Castle.

Geez... why in Kent? Now he's really trying to piss me off... I'm in Paris from the 25th to the 30th, leaving that morning and I'm in London from the 30th until the 3rd, leaving that day. I might just have to extend that day.

Is there a train going from London to Kent? Or a bus? Can't find anything!

Yes! That's annoying, isn't it? I was in the states east coast earlier this year... about 2 weeks before I got there the Carolina shows were been announced... if I would have known about them earlier. It's like he thinks people are just sitting around waiting for him to announce shows!

logistically hop farm would make sense as a stage, PA, lights, parking, refreshments, you name it will all be in place, whereas none of that would be in place at the castle, so it would be quicker, easier and cheaper to use hop farm

it'll be muddy as fuck though after the eagles and roxy music fans have trampled the place apart

actually the hop farm lineup isn't bad so if he does play there i might do that too, as i like eagles and roxy music

i need to get some outdoor gear if that's the case. the only time i got outdoors is to visit tescos

Okay, going to Kent from London by train, where would I have to go? Apparently there is no train station in Kent?!? Is Paddock Wood the right station, or is that only in relation to that Hop Farm festival?

I think he's just changes his mind like the wind and lives quite spontaneously, still annoying tho lol.
I just praying its not outdoors, when I was in Arras last year the standing there waiting for hours and hours was a killer, people where fainting and getting very angry with each other waiting in the swelting heat.

btw you can get like a million trains from London(marjority from victoria station). Depending where the venue is, if its nearer the side of London you may be able to catch a night bus to London afterwards, coz our night buses a lot of them go qute far at night, but it really depends where he'll be, Kent is a big area.

Great news about Dublin - hope it is true and works ou this time ... LOL

Croke Park and Eviva Stadium are both booked out, so most likelt options would be RDS Otdoor arena (30K capacity) or hopefully the O2 indoor arena which can hold 10-15K depending on setup... It is free most of July so adding additional show would be possible too...

well details will come out soon, but it makes sense at that venue as the dates tie up. there is nothing at leeds castle on that date and no gigs until later on. it would be easier to add another date after the festival than organise a gig at the castle last minute (staff, stage, pa, lights, you name it).he has tagged dates onto festivals before

Yeah. It makes sense.... but then again, wouldn't there be any indoor venues in Kent?

Been to Blue Water shopping centre before, it was pretty quick by train from London. That was the biggest thing there I think, oh and fields lol.

The Arras venue was this big old square with all theses little cobbled sand like stones that was awful. Kent won't be like that we don't have places like that here, it will be grass or mud.
