So I was set up with a couple of computers this morning, one to purchase S.J. on the 19th, the other for the 21st. What was very interesting was that my wait time for Sat. was only a minute and Thu. was 9 minutes. The two of us both submitted at almost the exact same moment. I would have thought the exact opposite, that Sat. would be the one with the longer wait period. I got frustrated as the time for Thu. would go down to less than 5 minutes then jump up to less than 7 minutes. We had already purchased our Sat. seats.

So I tried the automated phone sales. I had tickets through the phone sales in less than 3 minutes. It is a bit annoying at first and if you want to purchase by location, they have a very lame ass system for that. But it was fast and we had tickets while the online page was still telling me less than 5 minutes.

Bottom line was that the automated phone process seems to be far faster than the processing queu online.

In future I will use the automated phone sales.

many times you can get shut out via phone sales though if you call too early.

phish fans (probably as fanatic as prince fans) have internet sales down to a science. they even practice w/ other hard to get tix, lol.

one tip i can offer is to have a website browser pointed to time.gov and wait to refresh the page until about 3-5 seconds after the actual on sale time.

also, do not have multiple windows opened in the same browser (i believe you can you use different browsers on the same computer, ie firefox and safari), it'll boot you off.
