Prince concert virgins and nosebleed seats ;-D How many are you out there? This is my first time ever attending a concert and my first time attending a Prince concert. I thought I wouldn't make it because I live two hours away from The Forum but I am going for the first but not last time on Thursday night after a lonnng day at school lol. Anyway, for all those Veterans out there, how is it really? I am in Loge 14 row W, I don't know if I will be able to see him, but thats okay. So.. anyone elses first time and as for my purple veterans what am I in for? Maybe a Bicycle Ride lol
You know what my seats are pretty nosebleed but thats okay , Praying to God for an Upgrade! [Edited 4/26/11 21:23pm]

Well The Loge Sections which are the Red Seats start at A end at X so hopefully that helps now colonade is a bit different as well has floor due to the height of the stage it's better I think to be up & elevated to see the stage and monitor all three video screens

The Loge seats are not the nosebleed seats. In fact, that would be where I'd prefer to sit, but I haven't had any luck finding $25 seats in the loge section.
The good news is you won't be that far from the stage. The bad news is Section 14 is closer to the rear of the stage. However, the singers and Price do walk around the stage a lot. Plus, you'll be able to see what's happening on the big screens.
Enjoy your first Prince show!

I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised by the view you get. The Forum is an old-school arena and as such there isn't the huge gap for suites and boxes that exist at most modern arenas. I was in the Colannade (above the Loge) and thought the view was pretty good. During the encores I was able to make it down to the front row of the colonnade (right above the Loge) and thought the view was great. So I think you're going to have a fine view. He didn't feel extremely close, but close enough to feel like you're definitely part of the show.
I go see bands/musicians live on a weekly basis and have usually dreaded the arena setting, but I truly believe Prince makes arenas feel like clubs. In my opinion, the symbol/glyph stage feels like it shrinks the arena a bit and Prince has so much energy and things sound so great live I didn't mind the arena one bit.
I think you're going to have an awesome time. Enjoy! [Edited 4/26/11 21:51pm] [Edited 4/26/11 21:52pm]

Loge 14 puts you behind the stage but you will be able to see him. he spends most of his time on the other side so if you have time look for Loge seats in 31-36 or 1-6. Risers may still be on sale for $25, you just have to be patient and look. Last Saturday I got 3 riser seats (10 rows from the stage) 2 hours before the concert for $25 each. they are out there, you just have to keep pinging ticketmaster.

For 3 of the shows I attended, I exchanged my seats for better ones. I was told that you can exchange for the same or higher priced tix. If you call Ticketmaster, they should be able to help you. If the person tells you they can't, let them know that you know it HAS been done before.
