All of the hotels right around LAX are close to the Forum. If you trying to save some money check out Embassy Suites on Airport Blvd.

I found a really good deal at The Holiday Inn near LAX using Travelocity's "Top Secret Hotels" option. You select a hotel range and they let you know the price, but you don't find out the hotel until after you book.

We were so close to the Forum it took us roughly three turns on three streets to get there--no freeways!. Under ten minutes. It was a nice relief not to worry about the legendary LA traffic on the way to the venue. Also, staying near LAX you're right near the on ramps for several freeways so you have easy access to post show dining anywhere you want in the city. Roscoe's House of Chicken & Waffles in Hollywood is highly recommended. Prince was on the stereo and there were Welcome 2 America t-shirts on patrons in the restaurant.

You're going to have an aweswome time. I really love the Forum. It is an old school arena and can get crowded and you'll likely experience concessions and bathroom lines, but the building has so much history and feels perfect for the shows. The lines and being close to people was a fun part of the experience. Prince has been quite vocally extolling the Forum's rich history.

I plan on making it down again toward the end of the run and will definitely use the Travelocity option again.
