Meet and Greet? This is probably a really stupid question but I thought I'd ask it anyway. Does Prince ever do any kind of meet and greet before or after his shows? I'm thinking probably not... |

The closest he has gotten lately were the soundchecks for NPGMC members. |

I believe he did Meet & Greet type signings on the ACT II tour.
There was, of course, the Celebrations as well, but I don't think those really count as Meet and Greet deals. |

It's very rare, but I did get to meet and speak with him only once. January 1, 1999, upstairs on the VIP level of Studio 54 in MGM- He was in a corner with tables and a booth that was roped off but there was a line to meet him only if you had a Studio 54 Platinum VIP card. There was literally less than 20 people around. I was so overwhelmed, I threw my beer aware before approaching him. I was loaned a PLatinum VIP card from a friend who was working the the front desk & he loaned me Robin Williams card from his "box", telling me if I lost the card, he would lose his job.
I was able to tell Prince that "Condition" was my favorite jam & that I had been a listener since the age of 8 when my older cousin Debbie used to sneak her Dirty Mind & Controversy LP's out to the living room record player & play them while our Moms babbled in the kitchen unaware I was listening to Sister & Sexuality. Prince shook my hand, said "Thank You" with a smile & that was it. |

He did a CD signing/meet and greet in London, end of March 1995 when the NPG "Exodus" album came out. He signed stuff using the name Tora Tora. He was wearing the bandanna across his face and signed the skimpy underwear that my friend took along with her, apparently with a dirty smirk on his face Homer Simpson: "I call the big one Bitey"!! |

are you autistic? because you sound like you are. you might want to get checked out if you haven't yet been diagnosed. being pedantic, not picking up on an obvious joke, etc are signs that you may have a mental health issue |
