I hope shows in Oakland will sell out. Would be terrible if it fills out only 1/2 of the arena.

Why, why, why Prince does everything in the last minute??? Tickets on sale on Friday and 1-st show on in 3 days. It is insane!

I was curious as to how well the concerts are selling, so just now I checked each date and price category:

Monday - Can't get 4 seats together @ $89 or $61 but you can get 8 seats TOGETHER in the $147 & $283 sections.

Wednesday - Can't get 4 seats together @ $61 but you can get 8 seats TOGETHER in all of the other price sections.

It's pretty obvious people have snatched up the $61 seats knowing full well they can get a really good upgrade for free. Since Prince doesn't like performing with lots of empty lower level seats around him, there will likely be plenty of fans in the cheap seats that will be asked to move down IF they are seen on their feet. Those planted in their seats likely won't get an invite.

Seriously? They upgrade seats like that? Wow, I had no idea. I will always be up and moving at a prince concert maybe I can get moved to a better seat. I'm on the lower level but towards that back of the symbol stage so it would be hella nice to be moved to a better viewing area.

For real, it happened at both of the Izod shows. And depending on how security is in Oakland, I would imagine many of the $61 folks will try to upgrade on their own without an invite. Especially if the $89 seats don't fill up Wednesday.

Me and my wife got tickets in section 115 row 13 this is my fouth prince concert and my wife's second we are bringing my brother in law and his wife this will be their first prince concert they are sitting in section 111

Sec 223 row 11 seats 1-4. I'll bring tissues for the bleeding noses. I too didn't want to spen a lot of $$$ seeing as Sade is coming and so is Duran DUran. Still should be a great show!
