So did he sing Endorphinmachine or not? Full version or just a snippet? For me, if he did sing it in full that alone would have been worth the 200 donut entry.

it seems like no one ones to anwer that question .... so I guess NOT

He played the whole i like it there and the first verse and chorus from endorphinmachine, then the second verse he seemed to forgot the lyrics, the audience sang it partly, then again chorus and guitar solo...really great rockin version.

Yeah, it seemed like he was forgetting the words to Endorphinmachine and wanted the audience to sing along. There was a killer guitar solo at the end.

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

well i do like it, especially since it used to come off very well in a live setting and these days

i'm sure he could have lots of fun rocking out on the guitar, with extensive solo's.

but beyond that, it's just great to see him playing something that he hasn't performed 90000

times already.

all of those NY concerts, i read the setlists, i even heard some dates on bootleg and never,

not even once did i think to myself "i wish i could have been there"

now, seeing that back 2 back combo of "I Like It There" and "Endorphinmachine" on darby's

setlist, the first thing i thought was "Now that's something I would pay $200,- for, even if the

entire performance was just those 2 songs".

prince needs to tour with more differing setlists next time.

been discussed already too many times.

Arena shows = lots of hits

small venues = stuff the diehards want to hear

At least we did get some things in these shows like Mountains, Lay Down, Dreamer, She's always in my Hair, Do me Baby, Scandalous, Insatiable, Pop Life, Shhh! still in the set list as it is a killer live, especially with Blackwell on the drums, When we're Dancing Close and Slow, etc.

also, in addition to those, we also got SHOE/I Love U But Don't Trust U Anymore- i really enjoyed that.

IstenSzek, out of all the shows so far, i think you would have enjoyed 1/18 msg the best-pretty nice mix in the set and maybe about as good at shaking it up as we are going to get for now. yea, i'd love to see a show with just mainly material from 1992-present day-that would be interesting.

This is surely a reason why Prince should not only do the remasters (just as downloads would be fine) but also the best of prince album. Songs like Endorphinmachine would become classics for "average Joe" too. If I was Prince I would be taking the iTunes folk out to dinner, they have been showing the Beatles back catalogue so much love and could easily do something along the same lines for P in the future.

Also I was playing a friend ATWIAD yesterday and it sounds so bad it's embarrassing, compare it with Springsteen and McCartney remasters.... Oh wait this isn't a remasters thread smile
Glad I got to see ATWIAD the song played at an aftershow, I like it there and E machine must have been AMAZING!

Lights, camera, make a scene...

It woulda be hot to hear that live, I'm mad I'm not rich. Actually when I checked my bank acct the next day I realized I really COULD have swung the 200, but I think the initial SHOCK of "OMG it's HOW much?!" kinda scared me away. Its all good tho, I'm glad those who did go got the experience. I'm not giving up! He'll be back (hopefully) and I"ll be stalking him until I get into an afterSHOW!

Prince esta muerto...

Aftershow setlist:

John Blackwell, Renato and Mr. Hayes take the stage around 1:48am, Prince follows them and stands at Cassandra's keyboard.

Freestyle rap by Talib Kweli, with Prince on keys
Party Hearty (LTD) - Shelby, Liv, Elisa singing. Prince on Ida's bass, Ida "noodling" on Mr. Hayes' keys with him.
777-9311 bassline into The Stick, then Head (instrumental only <img src=" /> ) - Prince still on bass
Which Way is Up? (Starguard) - Ida back on bass, Shelby, Liv, Elisa singing.
until this point Prince has not said/sung a word. He walks offstage at 2:19am.
Take Your Time (SOS Band) - Prince makes his way to the soundboard in the back of the room
Chelsea Rodgers - Prince comes back onstage after the first verse(?), gets the Hohner.
Sexy Dancer w/Le Freak lyrics (Chic)
Endorphinmachine - after the intro to this Prince abruptly stops the band, making slashing motion across this throat, like "cut it" The entire band walks offstage and the house lights come on. It's 2:33am. A few minutes later, John Blackwell, Renato, Ida, and Prince come back onstage; Prince picks up the red Fender stratocaster.
I Like It There
Endorphinmachine

The show ends at 2:49, the DJ starts spinning again.

Wow!

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince
