Check the concert thread.

He did the clean version. IIRC he didn't even sing F You, he left the cursing up to the audience.

There were teleprompters near the stage with big "NO F WORD" on them. I guess that was Cee Lo's friendly reminder. cool

Prince esta muerto...

OMG how can Prince be so disrespectful to Cee-Lo eek

If he invited Cee-Lo to be his opening act he should not censor other people's art.

Well, there already is a version that is called forget you as you know^^

And it was quite funny because the audience sang the real version..so it is not a big deal, i think

Cee-LO has performed the clean version many times. If SNL can ask him to edit it, why can't Prince?

lol I was so busy having fun singing "Forget You" with the people in my row, that I never noticed that message on the jumbo screen, and quite frankly it was just as much fun singing the clearn version. Even if some folks chose to sing the curse version, you couldn't really tell, because it was i pretty much drowned out, because both versions were being sung by audience members.

In a potty-mouth, trash-reeking city like Noo Yawk, no one should be surprised.

Ignorant.

Do you not think that Cee-Lo appreciated the once in a lifetime opportunity to open for a legend like PRINCE?! You would do the same thing too. And considering that the only reason why PRINCE would request not to use curse words in the first place is because he has advertised his concerts as a "family show".

Really. Why are people so f'n ignorant here?

Cinnamon girl with all respect but you don't know what you're talking about.

No it's not because he has advertised

his concerts as a "family show",

the reason why Prince don't allow swearing is because Larry Graham used to leave

Prince's concerts because Prince sweared in his songs.

Instead of being grateful because

Prince gave him a job,he tottally fucked up Prince's mind.

And don't tell me Prince is a grown man

because Prince went through hard period at his life and he was very easy target for manipulation.
