I have always found the Ticketmaster website HELP/Contact Us function very responsive.
If you purchased your package directly from them, it would seem to make a whole lot more sense to start there rather than here.

The last time I enquired, they responded with a blurb that the merch was still in production. ...

I ordered a couple shirts on December 20 from the musictoday site, still nothing.
Will check one more time next week, if it still hasn't been shipped I'm gonna cancel and buy them off the street. Less money, less aggravation. "Never let nasty stalkers disrespect you. They start shit, you finish it. Go down to their level, that's the only way they'll understand. You have to handle things yourself."

Last week I sent an email over the status of the VIP package. Here is the reply I received from Rob at Tickets@fanfire.com:
Thank you for your email. Artwork for the Prince VIP product has been approved by the band and the items are in production. It is our hope to receive these items in the next 1-2 weeks. Once all the items arrive they will be bundled into VIP packages and we will then begin shipment. Thank you for your patience.

Mine showed up today. Color me officially un-impressed (but not surprised).

Just curious, what didn't you like about the shirt? Smaller than expected? Cheap material?
I cancelled my order. "Never let nasty stalkers disrespect you. They start shit, you finish it. Go down to their level, that's the only way they'll understand. You have to handle things yourself."

The shirt is eh-eh. I guess it's OK. It's all white, small purple symbol and says "Whatever Skin We're In We All Need 2 B Friends" in light gray lettering on the front, same font as all other W2A merch. And there's gray threading up each side. It's just ... eh. Nothing special.
The lithograph is just the W2A signage we've seen everywhere--Prince behind his guitar, cityscape. It is hand numbered, limited to 3,000. Smaller size, roughly 12x18.
The commemorative ticket is just the W2A signage in a smaller format. I'd hoped it would have at least had concert dates on it, MSG/NYC, something else...
The backstage pass is cheezeball (I knew it would be, so no surprise there).
Ho hum. | |
