【Kiss】Prince dances better than He was young, Don't U think so?

I mean at the end of "KISS", he really rocked it!

I saw all the 15th, 17th, 18th shows, And every time is different!

I hope it will have official video of that dance, I would like to purchase it & watch it over and over...

That's an awesome impromptu!

Exactly my thoughts!! When I saw him dance this year, I was fascinated by the way he moves. For me his dancing is better nowadays because it seems more natural and spontaneous than the exactly choreographed dance moves he did with the female dancers back in the days. This shows especially because he does it slightly different every time! Yes, I love the way Prince dances!!! biggrin

No he doesn't and if you think so you clearly have not seen\watched him perform at his peak. As for not being choreographed, a trademark of his dancing was how unchoreographed it looked e.g. Parade tour.

In my opinion he has been gaining dance "vocabulary" this whole time, even if he is restraining his moves because he's older. His dancing on the Nude Tour was light years ahead of the Purple Rain era, and then I remember how he moved on the Sinbad live appearance and then even his moves on the Musicology tour (while restrained from true acrobatics), it's like he is getting slicker and slicker at these more subtle moves that fit the mood of the song or the crowd.

But these days his energy is kept in check. The wildest I've ever seen him is towards the end of the 1987 New Years bootleg video. That should be put to DVD! Or uprezzed to Blu-ray! Flaws and all.

I think they look completely awkward and really forced. He mostly just makes weird motions with his hands nowadays it seems.

Uh I Highly disagree..from 1982-1988 Prince dancing was crazy. The sliding, the SPLITS..Just watch the SOTT Movie..The housequake and Hot Thing performance where he dances with himself..

Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

You must be kidding. I saw him in the 80's and 90's a few times, 4 Musicology shows and then again last Wed night at that awful Izod Center. He doesn't even wear big heels all the time anymore. It is obvious to me besides getting older he has had health issues. He doesn't move at all like he used to and he does not dance for very long stretches. He is still entertaining and his singing and guitar playing are as great as ever but as a dancer? He's years past his peak.

He moves just fine for 52...I had no problem with it at all and quite frankly I don't want to see him flying off the stage and splitting up a storm....He's 52 and what he does is VERY SEXY on stage.....he even stuck his butt out!

He knows exactly how much he should do! .....I loved everybit of the show Friday nite!

When he came out in that black and yellow suit....it was to die for, my son said he looked like a ROCK GOD! razz

I love all of Prince dancing from the past and even the present.....I use to dance my ass off up until about 38....now at 43 I feel everybit of it when I move in my knees.....realty sets in quick when that pain hits yo ass...we are no differnat in that aspect than Prince.

I'm gonna count my blessings and thank God that I got to see my man get his shit off once again.

Prince is so sexy-especially when he dances. Anyone that ever made the stupid remark that he was gay needs to seriously get in touch with their feminine side and stop taking that extra testosterone!

He is all man.

And he dances just as good at 52 as he did when he was younger-the man doesn't age! eek

Who are you people trying to convince? Sure, he's dancing more than he did in 05 but his moves are completely stilted and bizarre. It's mostly a series of odd hand gestures and occasional leg gesticulating.

Actually some of the dance moves Prince did on Saturday at MSG, was a bite off a dance that was referred to as the "Harlem Shake" similar to what some of the dancers in this video are doing. That dance was popular some years ago in NYC, and shortly spread to other cities. On Saturday, Prince added his own creative moves to it, almost causing heart attacks and an earthquake among those in attendance at MSG, especially when he pumped his chest in and out and thrusted his body to the motion of the drum beat. It was awesome.biggrinlol

U mean the bootleg “Prince - Paisley Park (Live Dec 31 1987 - with Miles Davis)”?

I saw that video several years ago, it has the best version of "hot thing" and "if i was Ur girlfriend" in my opinion.

He was really wild dancer when he was young. like now, He doesn't split anymore.

But I just think at the end of "kiss" he did recently, it looks very naturally and smoothly~

15th he wore red, 17th he wore gold, 18th he wore red. And I think the 17th dance is definitely the best compare to 15th and 18th. I really wanna see the video of that golden kiss dance!

And of course I saw the parade tour, and more than 40 bootleg videos.

Viewed from some sort of angle, He dances better than younger at the end of kiss recently, in MY opinion.

ps, he danced similar at 20ten tour in Europe before "Welcome 2 America" show.

It's obvious he's not dancing like he used to just for the sheer fact that he doesn't or can't do the splits anymore so the dancing isn't going to be the same. Plus and HE'S 52 YEARS OLD. Can you really see him humping a bed NOW? Or doing some of the wild dances he did at 22 or 32? That would be some shit! lol As for how his dancing TODAY, he dances REAL GOOD for someone his age and for someone who's had hip surgery. Give credit where credit is due. He's still doing the damn thing.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
