Welcome 2 America MoQuake is reporting that the "series of events" that r 2 begin on a Purple Day in mid-December, will take place at Madison Square Garden and the IZOD Center in NJ... Potential aftershows @ The Apollo would seem to make sense, but 1 never knows (wait.... only the woman knows, only she knows)

If this is true, then I all the shows are at MSG, instead of part of it being at the IZOD center in NJ. MSG is much easier to travel to. With Penn Station right below, those using the PATH/Amtrak train service or Greyhound bus service, for fans coming from nearby cities. Plus there's a plethora of restaurants/hotels/fast food joints there.
If this news is true, he may choose to do the show at the smaller venue inside MSG, at the "Theatre at MSG" or at the larger venue, the "Arena" if he has a large number of multiple acts performing on one night. Who knows? If he does the Arena, then he could have an aftershow at the Theatre at MSG, since it is convenient, location-wise, for an aftershow.

U may be right 2elijah, out of curiosity I just checked the schedule @ "The Theatre" at MSG (smaller venue than the Arena) and it doesnt look available.... guess we'll just have 2 wait it out got Prince? | |

There is a thread already stating those dates and mentioned in reply #4 in this thread.
Also, I'm wondering if he would do an aftershow at a closer venue like the smaller theatre already in MSG or at a smaller club, in the Times Square Area like BB Kings, instead of going all they way up to Harlem from 34th Street to 125th Street, which is much further from MSG. Strange they would sell tkts for the 12/18 MSG NYC and NJ shows at the same time. I could imagine people scrambling to buy tickets to attend the NY/NJ shows, the same day as one NY show (12/18) seems to be going on sale as the NJ shows. [Edited 10/21/10 13:33pm] | |

I wasn't thinking of Ticketmaster, I was thinking of email messages we would get directly from Prince, like the ones we have received in the past.

Oh, sorry about that. He doesn't have a website anymore so I doubt we get any emails. The lotusflow3r site is long gone. Livenation usually deals with ticketmaster when selling tickets for concerts. Guess you just have to keep checking the livenation/ticketmaster site, unless one of the mods here or at www.moquake.com or drfunkenberry's site, have other ticket purchase info. Just a wait and see I guess. | |
