Is there have a lot of TAXI in NJ?

I'm a foreigner, so my English is not really good lol

Taxi is more convenience for me.

And I'm afraid I can't find the bus very smoothly.

I'm afraid I can't go back to my motel after the concert~

another question,

Can I take a taxi from NJ to NY?

Is that available for Taxi to across the state?

Sure there are plenty of taxis either way, but it will cost you depending on what part of New Jersey/New York City you're taking a taxi from. Also, just to note, Manhattan, is usually referred to by most residents/tourists as New York City, although New York City consists of five boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island).

Many people in NYC do have cars, they just don't drive them to Manhattan because of the traffic congestion.

NYC (Manhattan) has a lot of yellow taxi cabs that you can't miss.

You more than likely are talking about taking a taxi cab from either Manhattan to New Jersey or New Jersey to Manhattan. Manhattan aka NYC, is the main tourist/business/entertainment district. So if you're taking a taxi from New Jersey, then you let the cab driver know you're going to Manhattan, which is where the Madison Square Gardens venue is located.

Whichever airport you fly into, has taxi service. Also, if your staying in a hotel in NJ, ask them about taxi service, they should have that info. You can also ask the hotel you're staying in, if they provide bus tours to NYC or know of a daily tour service nearby that does.

Check out the "Fan Gathering" section on the site to see if anyone is meeting up in New Jersey for any of the shows or if any New Jersey fans going to the show, can help you with some information about getting around New Jersey and if they're considering taking a bus tour to NYC durng their stay.

You can also check out this thread link regarding transportation around NY & NJ, shuttle info/taxis/buses/shuttles/trains, etc.

Thank you very much.

I live in California, and in my city, I can't see any taxi on the street.

Therefore sometimes I got big trouble about transportation.

Yes, there will be many taxis. In California, everybody has a car so there are fewer taxis. In New York City many, many people do not have a car. They take a taxi. There will be taxis at the IZOD center. You can take one from there (New Jersey) to New York City, no problem. (Except that it will cost somewhere between $35 and $60. )

Jersey cab prices really are pricey for some reason.

I live in California also, for over 20 years... Most cities have cab companies but for some smaller cities like Santa Cruz, for instance, one cab company has taken the place of more than one. If you live in a smaller city or town, look up the available cab companies from the internet or phone book. A lot of times, once you use a cab driver once that you like, they will give you a card with a personal contact number and you can call them when you need a ride. I hope this helps! biggrin

First of all which show are you going to? I would hate to see anyone get lost trying to get to a show in Jersey if you are coming from NYC take the train from Penn Station to the Seacaucus Junction and there will be buses there to take you to the Izod center - it will be much cheaper than taking a taxi

If you (or anyone else) have any questions on how to get around please org me ASAP!

You have several choices: You can take the airtrain from JFK to the Jamaica station, and take the subway ("E" train) directly to Penn Station, and like Glamgrl stated, you could catch a train from Penn Station to Secaucus Junction and from there, take a bus that goes near the IZOD Center, since your hotel is closeby.

You could also make your trip much easier on yourself, if you take the New York Airport Bus Service directly from JFK Airport to the NY Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there you can catch a bus to or near the IZOD center, since you state your hotel is nearby.

Here's the schedule for NY Airport (bus) service

Here's the fare information for it:

If you want to find a hotel close to MSG, check out this thread link below for hotels closest to MSG.
