MY PRESALE CODE I forgot about the presale for folks who had tix to the 12/14 show was starting (and ending) today. I just remembered and tried purchasing a pair, but I didn't like the seats offered on each instance. Maybe you'll have better luck than me. The presale is going on for another 3 hours, so if you want my presale code, I'll send it to you along with the link from the email. First person to orgnote me gets it! And $10 to my PayPal account would sweeten the deal (just sayin'...)
This post will be deleted when someone takes the code (or earlier if the mods find this post to be a little too shady for their liking).

"would" being the operative word, slim!
Folk can try to get a ticket now against a limited amount of people, or try to get a ticket tomorrow against a larger amount of folk trying to get tickets. People can choose to respond, or not. That's the beauty of freedom of choice: Welcome 2 America. |

I do not think it is cool that people are sharing a password that is only suppose to be for people who had already purchased tickets for 14 Dec 2010 show. This is not cool because now people who should have had first selection for the 18 Jan 2010 show are not getting the best seat first which was the entire purpose of the pre-sale.

Just to let everyone know, it looks like they are around row O and P in sections 21 and 22 with about 40 minutes to go in the pre-sale. Not sure what sold on the back side of the stage, but it seems not too many people took advantage of this. When I went on right at 10:00 I got row J, turned it back and ended with row O right on the aisle in section 22. Good luck tomorrow. |

Hey chica, Your heart is in the right place, and I don't mean to sound cruel or selfish, but although it may not be fair, the point is...at least people are "interested" in buying tickets. [Edited 12/8/10 19:58pm] |

Hey, I'm just glad Prince is helping to contribute to New York City and New Jersey's economy, by having these shows. Each and every one of you who are attending Prince's Welcome2America concerts, will be helping to contribute to New York City/New Jersey's economy, on 12/15, 12/17, 12/18, 12/29 and 1/18/11, by staying in NY/NJ's hotels/visiting our restaurants and popular tourist attractions, using our tranportation facilities, etc., while you're visiting here. With the recent police department layoffs in parts of New Jersey, and possibly NYC, as well as, the possible layoff of 6,000 teachers who may lose their jobs in NYC, according to our Mayor, at least it's good to know that around this time of the year, many tourists will be here to help contribute to both states' economy at this time.
I'm sure all of us who are attending on various dates, look forward to a purple good time! Go ahead...buy more tickets folks!
[Edited 12/8/10 19:17pm]
Yup...I've already locked in a couple of NYC tours for the extra days I will be there and scoped out some good restaurants: BBQ's, Carmines, etc., ... So, I will do two things I want to do--see Prince concerts and NYC for the first time in my life--plus I get to introduce my son to these as well! Looking forward to seeing the Big Apple as much as the Prince concerts! "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

Cool. If you're attending the 12/18 show, you should check out the Macy's on 34th street window display, 1 block down from MSG, as well as some of the tourist attractions in Times Square, like Madame Toussad's Wax Museum;the Discovery Times Square- where they have the King Tut exhibit going on, as well as the Titanic and DiVinci Workshop. Also, there's plenty of Broadway shows in that area as well., just to name a few. You could also take a bus tour of NYC with one of the many tour buses you'll see in the area.
On another note, not to damper your trip, but as most of us know, around the holiday season, in any large city, like NY, there's always some bad elements that use this time to come out and play. So just be mindful of keeping your wallet and personal items secured, and not travelling alone too late at night in a city you're not too familiar with. You can have fun anywhere you travel, but you also can't take certain things for granted. Anyhow, have a great time at the NY/NJ shows.

Thank you again, 2elijah, for all the information and care about travellers to NYC. I'm going to the 15th and 17th shows and plan on going on tours during the early daylight hours. I live in a big city so I'm very guarded. I will be using public transportation but my street radar is up at all times. Good advice... Exactly, and thanks by the way. I guess I'm so used to people stopping me in the street and asking for directions.. Anyway, it's been around 30 - 40 degrees and chilly, so don't leave home without the boots, (in case it snows) coat, hat, scarves and gloves. |

Seriously, should I invest in galoshes that go over shoes? Because I have to wear shoes with orthotics inserts due to bad feet so would it be a good idea to get some hiking boots? Or would over-shoe galoshes be okay? LOL I haven't lived in snow and ice in quite a few years... No, it actually hasn't snowed yet, but we had a few snowflakes that probably went unnoticed. It just started getting cold last week, in the low to mid 30s, so it's in that range right now. This is December and NY's weather can be a bit tricky. You could bring hiking boots if that is what makes you feel comfortable. You can check the weather for the week on line just before you travel out here, and it should give you an idea of what to expect weatherwise, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. Long as you dress warm you'll be okay.

the presale today was only for us who had tickets to the canceled show.we got individual one time use random codes... the presale tomorrow is for the ppl on the livenation email list. general public is friday. but with these passwords on here spreading like herpes and yes that pisses me off how everyone shares it but i was signed up for all the insider mailing list email things and only one arrived at it was at 8:40pm that day! WTF. 10am-10pm ????? so if they didn't my tix would suck.
the only thing i don't get is that the livenation emails should have let you choose that u definitely want a refund and not the 12/15th tix offered. cause those who obviously accepted had wasted passwords... |

Thanx for that! So, I take it leather street sneakers should be okay as long as I weather-proof them?! Im gonna take a guess at the password ...GUITAR Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews. |

I agree about livenation and msg insider emails being slow to send out presale password notifications. I remember in late October, my email arrived after the presale happened but I already had the password from someone notifying people of it here. |
