Good Advice for Prince / show 18.11.2010

Hi,

i was yesterday at the prince concert in Arhem. Prince and the crowed was on fire. Prince looked great. The show was great, setlist was like the last ones....U know...o.k. no real suprises..

Well, one thing that was really horrible was the sound. It was awful. not enjoyable. The same shit sound like on the ona tour in oberhausen. Yesterday i had really problems to hear his vioce and the instruments clearly. it was mashed and way to loud.

I think prince should invest the money he got for the concert in a new set or/ and a new professional engineer to make him and his band sound clear and enjoyable not just thundering and mashed up.

I would like to see his Face and his reaction, when he would hear that f.cking mashed up sound.....

Still, i liked what i have seen and would love to hear/see a concert of him with a great sound like in 93, where he used not his set in wegberg.

I'm afraid the bad sound is not to be solved by any engineer, it is the venue itself. I was warned about it beforehand and yes, the sound was pretty bad. Would have loved to see this show in a venue with better sound. I missed detail in the sound as well, it was practically impossible to hear the individual instruments.

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

It's the venue indeed and not the sound engineers. Gelredome has horrible acoustics and it makes U wonder why that venue was chosen... But we had a blast, very good seats (although we never sat down) and we heard most of it quite well.

I love Prince and chocolate - in that order
