- Driving into NYC is a huge pain in the ass, because of tunnel/bridge traffic. I live about 20 minutes away, but with traffic, it could take me over an hour to get into Midtown.

Then once I get there, it is insanely expensive to park in an underground hole where they don't treat your car with respect.

- If you don't have a car, you have to deal with NJ Transit, which stops running too early for the possibility of going to an afterparty or to do anything other than run out of the show. I actually had to leave before an encore one time, so I didn't miss the last train.

- And like I've said before, New Jersey fans usually have to travel into NYC or down to Philly 9 out of 10 times to see most shows, so we always have to deal with traffic, parking, gas and the like. It's a LUXURY to have a show in our state for a change.

People are acting like Prince playing in NJ is like dealing with a new level of HELL in "Dante's Inferno".

i watch hgtv and see how crazy it costs for studio apartments in ny. i thought jersey was insane! PARKING IS INSANE! 25 bux to park my car in alfreds alley area to see a show in philly's south street the other day. same with penns landing to see the free morris day show. insane that you have to pay a garage to house your car when you live there..

easiest concert venue is camden! hop the riverline for a $1.25.then my dad picks me up and a crash at his place. i don't wanna leave my newer car now overnight though...msg is next best one. i like hopping a train for 20 bux..leave the car at princeton junction. fuck watch it be like U2..no parking. had to leave the old car in the strip mall across from the train station!

Looks like the izod shows are selling, checked for floor seats all three nights. There were plenty of good seats on the weekend. Today, no floor seats are available for any of the three shows except singles.

My guess is that livenation (the promoters) were hoping lots of NYC people would go to jersey, 'cause the costs are lower for the venue and operating, so they will make more profit. But due to the reasons I mention, that ain't going to happen. It's easy from an OPERATIONAL standpoint to run shows in MSG and IZOD, because they are close together, so costs are lower. But from a ticket sales standpoint (which is obvious from the current sales figures) you are going to sell more at MSG.

MEANWHILE the musicology tour ... I bought a great rear 100 level ticket for $89. The same seat this time around.. is $200?????
