How was it. I need to hear from those who were both on the floor and in upper sections. Was it as bad as the Izod? Personally, I think MSG's sound isn't that great...but was it?

I thought the sound was awesome at MSG. Vastly improved over the jumbled, muffled mess at the Izod.

Actually, you know what. I'm asking a question like this and just realized that a video I saw on Youtube displayed how great the sound was. Had it not been as good, I don't think the recording would have been so clear. *duh*

msg is noted in being the best venue in the world. the sound was crystal clear

oh i'm from wonder this area my whole time. you've made it when you play the garden. everyone wants to play the legendary garden!!

i was at all of em. pretty sure it was the whole song. he has been doing alot half of songs. like little red corvette he stopped before the liitle reed love machine line... the full versions of shhh and the beautiful ones were mind blowing!!

I was in the 100s for Musicology at MSG. Sound was good.

I was on floor sect 22 for this show at MSG. Sound was muddy. It wasn't bad, but it was the poorest concert sound I've heard in quite awhile.

And the sound at Radio City is fantastic.

i found the sound to be great. my love and i were sitting just off of the floor in section 11. it was magic...

yes he sure did. all 3 nights so far. ontop the piano. it was epic.

Just thought I'd put it out there: couldn't have been more disappointed with the sound tonite (12/29). Couldn't hear Prince's vocal clearly and no echos or effects from the recorded versions of the songs. Janelle's voice was brittle and the instruments were muddy. Very sad it was so bad. Expected better.

i am a musician and sound tech, i was there dec. 18th. larrys sound sucked ass, prince was the best i ever heard. the price difference in the sound tech, obviously the reason!
