Looking forward to another Prince-LIVE experience, his new bass-player and hope for a bit of a change in the setlist from the summer-tour (which was great, don't get me wrong) !

Indeed !!! biggrin so we'll go together thumbs up!

And your hint for a cheap flight was a good one ! So if anybody from or around Vienna is still thinking about going to Milan, check Ryanair from Bratislava, but be quick !

Any Orgers going to the concert in Rome ? Got my tickets yesterday. 4 days in the city. Alone on this venture this time. Its been more that 10 years since I visited the city.

Would love to hook up with other prince lovers for the concert and the after party chasing (I really hope there is going to be one)

Cheers

I’m wondering which area to book a hotel in for the Milan gig. (For Rome, I booked very near the venue as I assume there won’t be an aftershow because of the Milan gig the next day).

For Milan I may stay more central and travel to the arena, leaving myself in a better position if there’s an aftershow…

Any suggestions on which area in Milan to stay? Thanks.

No, it's nicer to cancel the fifth time in Finland. He rather enjoys Southern Europe sun and plays for half empty venues in Italy.

This Northern Europe tour seems to some kind of joke, don't you think?

Easily???

Please, check the distances between Helsinki and Denmark...as easily and cheap I would go to New York. How about you coming to Helsinki instead? Besides 5 cancelled concerts would make anyone mad.

Taking my whole family Denmark is definitely out of my wallet

Helsinki would not be a problem for me. I am living in Holland and have travelled through Europe to see P last summer. Holland hasnt been in the picture for the last 8 years but i am not complaining..better I prefer to see him elswhere...

I can imagine that it is expensive to take your family with you so hopefully there will be something in Finland soon. But it is not likely so if i were you i would go elswhere..wink

Got my flight tickets to Milan through Ryanair.

They are cheap at the moment, so anyone going from UK take a look.

has anyone infos about the sound in the milanvenue ? better to buy seating or standing tix?

The sound in the Assago Forum (the Milan venue) is average at best... but since he has not played Milan for eight years, it'll do cool

as to the standing vs. seating thing, I don't think there is a distinct advantage of either choice based on the venue, it just depends on personal preferences. Bear in mind the place is not huge hence you won't be too far off either way. I got standing tickets.

oh and for those who do not live in Milan: arrange your journey (it is a real journey!!) to the Forum with plenty of buffer in terms of time, the place is out of town and not very well connected... they are building an underground line extension to get there quickly from the city centre and I'm sure it will be up and running by 2065 at the latest razz

for now though, you'll need to catch bus n. 320 to get there and it does not pass very often. You'll find the bus stop at the southern end of the underground line n. 2 ("green" line, Famagosta is the name of the stop).

Hope this helps...
