July would be more preferrable. I'm in Hawaii for June. Bad enough I'm missing the Maxwell shows and Goldfrapp. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

A Prince concert is always a great event. The star will occur next July 9 to highlight Arras Main Square Festival, held from July 2 to 4. It will offer the public a show of 3:30, as part of the famous citadel of Arras classified. It will host several guests, whose names have not yet been disclosed. This concert marks the non-standard one of only three dates he scheduled this summer in Europe. Once again, the king of funk demonstrates his taste for live performances exception. In October last, he gave two concerts at the Grand Palais in Paris, after falling in love with the place during Fashion Week. Tailor-made shows, played to packed houses and had then created the event. Back in stores in September with the album LOtUSFLOW3R, the "kid from Minneapolis" will offer an original creation, made exclusively for its summer concerts. In Europe, the king of funk will do two other appearances in Denmark and Belgium. Tickets for the concert, from 84 euros to 124 euros free investment in gold square, go on sale April 27 at 10am in all networks, and preview for mobile clients and SFR sfrmusic.fr digitick. com 25 and April 26. Prince concert at the Main Square Special, Europe 1 event. I SOOOOO wish I were going!!! Prince AND Larry G together? The best guitar players ever! And they are AWESOME together in concert. A trip to Europe would be AWESOME too. Lucky guys who are going...HAVE A GREAT TIME. May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love.

Can someone help me out? Will this show be Prince being part of a festival where other artists will be playing too - or is it a propper Prince concert? Thanks in advance! Welcome to the org, TheDance55! It's a regular Prince concert, not part of a festival. Hey, thank you! Also, thank you sooo much for replying! Definately going to try for tickets now I have what I wanted to hear! Thanks again! EDIT: Do tickets go on sale on the 27th April? Also, where would I purchase them from and is there a site in English to purchase from? [Edited 4/23/10 4:48am] [Edited 4/23/10 4:50am]

I thought this Arras was a church/cathedral/something like that, but the picture makes me think its a HUGE(40,000??? seat) outdoor stage.. I know the Belgium arena is a large outdoor venue that rain can turn into a mudpit..
Anyone can help with good descriptions of the venues? size? indoor/outdoor? I will be in Europe during early July already and not sure if these venues are worth changing travel plans.. As for tickets, it appears LiveNation is handeling things so i would imagine it would be easy for an american to buy online?? gosh i'm afraid of the fees from that evil company tho.. Any info thanks a bunch As Ayan said does anybody have any more info about this proposed gig/ Is it an outdoor crushathon or does getting the gold circle mean you will be in a seated area? How many people go to the venue? Any information would be helpful. That picture makes it look like a bit of a nightmare...

I was wondering the same thing and was looking at the site the other day when the Google toolbar translation tool kicked in and translated it all automatically! I use Google translate sometimes but have never actively set the toolbar to translate pages automatically. You could try installing it, hopefully it helps.

I believe there were only 3000 GC tix in Werchter, so I fear that only SFR clients will be able to buy them. Anyone who knows what's the total capacity at the Arras festival ground?

I'm not happy about this either, however when Irish O2 customers get the same opportunity, I take full advantage. I will say with these paricular kind of presales not all of the best tickets go on sale. In fact if your taking part be prepared to reject the offer and hold out for the 27th. If i had the option of this presale i'd only buy if i got a gold circle after that i advise wait, chances off missing out completely is small i would guess. Enivri,

For all the people that are worried that the gold circle /carre d'or will be sold out.
They are still available trhough the SFR website. I even got my tickets at 3 pm after the presale started at 7.45 am this morning. Your name is printed on the ticket and you must show your ID in order to prevent scalping. The Dutch Invasion will be there Good luck everybody with the ticketsale 2morrow. I wouldn't call Arra a "cool choice of venue".(Doctor Outoftoucheberry)
This festival has been around a while, andd the north of France, while perfectly acceptable is hardly on anyone's "cool" list. Honestly, with P's recent record I personally won't bother commiting myself....and I live in Paris...just a quick drive away! There are lots of great bands /festivals around Europe this year....maybe my money will be safer going to them.
