I'm coming in saturday morning from the Netherlands by car for both shows and driving back after it's done.

anyone got any information about parking (other than I can find on the website of the festival)? from what i can make out (i might be wrong) there is park & ride from outside the festival zone.. i read there will be people directing traffic to the carparks. i'm thinking about parking in vevey about 5 miles from montreux. there a free bus that runs throughout the night on the hour called..  'le petite prince'..

I'm enjoying reading / sharing everyone's excitement. I came from London & have downstairs standing tickets for both shows. Flew straight to Geneva from London (nice place, I briefly went into town) and then on by train. Staying in a hotel down the road from the Stravinski.
After quite a bit of queuing earlier I'm now sitting on the floor inside the Stravinski, waiting for the action to start! I'm somewhere in the middle, not immediately in front of the stage. (Although in O2 terms, this would feel very close! But of course, this place is so much smaller.) It's felt like a long time since the 21 Nites in London. "John Bream, why you being fire-hydrant-head-looking..., you big seven eyed, Grover-from-Sesame-Street-looking… why you being dot dot dot?" | |
