According to a friend working at the Festival Prince is arriving today Thursday in Montreux. He is getting a whole floor at the Montreux Palace opposite the Festival hall. He is travelling with an army of bodyguards and the security at Montreux is going to be very tight. People with ALL ACCESS passes won't be allowed backstage, new PRINCE passes will be needed for Saturday. According to the Montreux's organisers, these two shows will be Prince's only shows in 2009 (which I find hard to believe....)

It's so good to hear that Prince is playing on stage with Blackwell,Rhonda and Renato.I'm also wondering if Prince will be playing with his new band too at Montreux?Cora,his new drummer is great.I didn't think to much and didn't hear to much about her until I saw her on a drum website where she's soloing.It was great.Still can't take anything away from John Blackwell.I always wanted to see him back on the stage.I love it when Prince get's jazzy;it's my favorite music.I'm also wondering who else would be on the stage,too?Peace!

Today's newspaper confirmed that he arrived yesterday. I was at the festival yesterday and somebody from the security told me that he was having a rehearsal in the auditorium Stravinsky right after the evening concerts. There was a possibility that he came playing at the Jazz Café, the rumor spread quickly but nothing happened.

I am so excited that Lotusflow3r is providing a livestream so we can watch and enjoy both shows.....

In the festivalshops you can buy posters (small and large) and two t-shirts with the by now well known Prince at Montreux picture.....

Just saw an amazing Prnce concert!! Very jazzy with to many songs to mention like scandalous, little red corvette, elixer, nothing compares 2 u, in a large room with no light, empty room etc. etc. now of to take a shower and then second show.....
