I was at Nokia Theater and Conga Room. At Conga Room we just couldn't believe the songs he was playing. A lot of us were freaking out to the point where some people were just giving weird looks (I think some people thought that some of these rarities were just covers because they didn't recognize the songs).
It took awhile for me to even recognize "I'm Yours" as it was so unexpected. For "I Like it There", as soon as P ended his story about the D&P tour, someone in the crowd shouted "I Like it There"! P asks "Oh, is that what you want to hear?" before launching into the song. That show was short but totally amazing. Also, Prince said something cool at Nokia that I haven't seen anyone mention...something like: "Today someone said to me 'music is just something you do'. I said no, 'I am music'. I never want to give this up." If he tours, don't miss it. He's in rare form right now. | |

I was at show 1 and 3 and he got off. Funny thing was on Play that funky music
he had fans from the PIT come up on the stage and asked if anyone new the song while he played the guitar. The guy that took the MIC blew- he looked goofy (no disrespect), but would have never thought he could sing like that... He (the fan) was awesome. Then Shelly E came out and did Glam-Life and played a little of the drums..... Midnight show- Chaka came out and need I say more... One hell of a night | |

Can anyone expound on "In a Large Room With No Lights" a little more. How much did it sound like the recorded version? Who sang the la, la,las? Did the crowd sing along? Did Prince notice the crowd reaction to the song?

I was was high giving some friends but they didn't know what this song was. I was singing, dying inside and trying to explain all the while trying to take in the significance of what he was singing right there right then. | |
