Oooh I like me a good Scavenger! cool Okay, well hey, since everybody else on The Org and Housequake is guessing, I am, too! I'm in California and might be busy when everything breaks out tommorrow so let me "Jessica Fletcher" now! Okay now, I've been pondering about this a couple of hours, so let's look at 2 things.. (Forgive me if anyone has already covered this...)

hmmm

We need to know who "Nick and Nora(h)" are? In one minute...

Number 1:

Let's first start with the "Where's Fluffy?'" motto used in "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" movie!

In the original 1965 movie, "Fluffy", starring Tony Randall and Shirley Jones, "Fluffy" was a pet lion who people were looking for, who was hidden in a hotel called the "Claridge Arms Hotel". Now, if this means anything, the real life Claridge Hotel was located on 44th and Broadway in Times Square and was located in the very same spot as 1515 Broadway in Times Square which is the home of the Nokia Theater and MTV.

But, since "Fluffy" was mysteriously hidden in "a hotel", let's consider that right there in that vicinity is also The Millenium Broadway Hotel which houses very intimate joints, Restaurant Charlotte and the Hudson Theater. Okay, but...

hmmm

Number 2:

...let me also take it here! Okay, yes, you all have talked about "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" the movie, the premise being, a "Where's Fluffy" secret concert, etc.. which is how Prince is messing with yall now! HAHA But, there's one more thing...

Did you know that some years before that movie came out, there was "Nick and Nora/The Thin Man Musical" on Broadway in 1991? The "Broadway musical" was about a couple named Nick and Nora who were detectives who solved a mystery (which is what yall Nick and Nora's are trying to do, now), and this "musical mystery" was performed at the Marquis Theater at The Mariott Marquis Hotel at 1535 Broadway in Times Square! So this would be the place where, detectives "Nick and Nora's", Times Square "musical mystery" happened to be solved! So if those trying to attend find Prince/Fluffy to be there, it would be like a "musical mystery" has been solved for you, too! biggrin

Hey, I could be wrong, but, my "spidy senses" say 44th and Broadway, 1500 block of Time Square, will be the place folks should be hanging on Friday!! I say The Mariott Marquis Hotel! The Marquis Theater exceeds the mentioned capacity, BUT, they have ballrooms; and just so happens that "Nick and Nora" had a beloved dog named, Asta, and The Marquis has a ballroom called the "Astor" (just a little extra note that might not mean nothing) But anyway, I say The Marriot Marquis Hotel and that's my final answer!... biggrin

Ya know, just a thought here:

I wonder if maybe Fluffy already made a reservation and simply lost the hotel room passkey? Of course, this being a scavenger hunt of virtual reality and metaphor, a key could mean many things. A word, maybe? What? What's the password? That's what I said! What? Exactly!

Sorry, now I'm just being an onionhead. disbelief

Maybe the right way down the rabbithole is knowing the right word to say. Like the song sez, put the right letters together and make a better day?

Hmmm. shrug

Could it be "Afterlife" Easter has nothing to do with rabbits, but with the resurrection and the two letters in the two clips posted were "A" and "F"

Hmmm

hmmm, and there are two web sites offering this contest...two web sites...two pieces of a map...where oh WHERE could someone find another half of the clues?

Tunnel Club, Tunnel is the answer is he is playing at the old Tunnel Club in Chelsea on 220 West 27th.

There was nothing so VERY remarkable in that; nor did Alice think it so VERY much out of the way to hear the Rabbit say to itself, `Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be late!' (when she thought it over afterwards, it occurred to her that she ought to have wondered at this, but at the time it all seemed quite natural); but when the Rabbit actually TOOK A WATCH OUT OF ITS WAISTCOAT- POCKET, and looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice started to her feet, for it flashed across her mind that she had never before see a rabbit with either a waistcoat-pocket, or a watch to take out of it, and burning with curiosity, she ran across the field after it, and fortunately was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge.

In another moment down went Alice after it, never once considering how in the world she was to get out again.

The rabbit-hole went straight on like a tunnel for some way, and then dipped suddenly down, so suddenly that Alice had not a moment to think about stopping herself before she found herself falling down a very deep well.

Either the well was very deep, or she fell very slowly, for she had plenty of time as she went down to look about her and to wonder what was going to happen next. First, she tried to look down and make out what she was coming to, but it was too dark to see anything; then she looked at the sides of the well, and noticed that they were filled with cupboards and book-shelves; here and there she saw maps and pictures hung upon pegs. She took down a jar from one of the shelves as she passed; it was labelled `ORANGE MARMALADE', but to her great disappointment it way empty: she did not like to drop the jar for fear of killing somebody, so managed to put it into one of the cupboards as she fell past it.
