Way too tired - Aladdin show was mind boggling - totally different arrangements and extended jams. Maybe one of the longest ONA shows...AAftershow was heavy jam session - Cyndi Lauper performed one song, Nikka too. Nice way to end the 2002 Prince year. More soon.

Fun thing about European tour...U get a report just hours after show...

Just talked to Eric L in the elevator and he said Prince will take an extended break from touring (probably means 4 months or so)...Let him rest.

did they FILM it? I have this dream that we're gonna get a DVD...

Give em time. Sounds like a marathon session in Vegas. I was going to go, but work schedules put an end to that dream.
Prince-wise, this has been a great year for me. The ONA concert in April, the Celebration in June, ONA Live!, and the awesome performance on The Tonight Show.
Thank you, Prince. You really are extraordinary.

Just got off the phone with a friend who went to the show. Got a little bit of details.

1. Prince played drums at the beginning of the show.

2. He danced a lot more, showed more sexiness than ususal.

3. He passed out chocolates at the aftershow.

4. At the soundcheck, Prince pulled up a friend of my friend, sat her down at his keyboards, and then asked her if he could sit on her lap!!! She said yes of course.

No, he's a prick because he toured every country in the world (or continent at least) where he has substantial fans except for Australia. He was on our doorstep in Japan yet couldnt be bothered. In fact, a tour here straight after Japan was almost finalised but he pulled the pin. We will now never see him I fear.

So yes, to me and I'm sure many of my fellow Aussie fans, Prince is a prick right now. You can stick that in your pipe and smoke it shitlips.

Ok! Ok! Ok! Lower your expections of a quick report of the show. We were at a Prince Concert in Las Vegas, a town that never sleeps! This will be quick summary because I just got home and I am tired! 3 hours sleep in 2 1/2 days. I will start by saying you missed the ONA show of the year.

The soundcheck was great..it was about an hour. Prince didnt talk ...played bass guitar. Everyone was there including Sheila E and Eric Leeds. Sheila is a beautiful person! The NPGMC section was jamming after the soundcheck in their seats and in the aisles while the DJ played all the old Prince dance party songs. Prince started the show at 8 and played until 11:30...3 1/2 hours I was right down front too!! This was the show of my life!! Remind me of the Celebration 2002. He was just tooo funky! I know someone will put up the song list but it is off from the ONA regular set which was even better ... You had to be there to understand how wonderful and powerful he was...just another great Prince performance... The show was recorded...I dont know if it was sold out but it looked like every seat was filled...he asked the NPGMC to come up on stage for the last song, Days of The Wild The first 5 rows was on stage singing with Prince...The $100 club fee was well worth it!...I felt totally exclusive especially when Mike Tyson's tickets were in the back I was already satisfied but WOW what else can I say but...PRINCE HAS DA FUNK! The aftershow was free to members and $100 for anyone else (guests). Cyndi Lauper and Nikka Costa (also at the show) performed...the whole show was about 2 hour jam session!! That is all for now...I have to work tomorrow...time to get some sleep!

Everyone is still sleeping.. The show didn't finish util about 4.. I got to sleep about 5:30 and was on a place to LA at 9:40... I'm still too tired to write anything...

Me and my husband were standing next to you and your girlfriend. It was really nice talking with you both before the aftershow. I couldn't believe how long the concert and aftershow were!

After the second encore I was chanting "Please be over, Please be over!" I could barely stand anymore.
