who made money out of this???

Over the past few weeks, really, ever since the tickets went on sale, there have been many on this site who predicted that the concert would not go ahead.

What I would like to know, is what person has made all of the money out of this cancelled show, MCD? Yes, all of the money will be given back, but are they going to give back the interest they got on this? What about credit card bookings, do you get your 6 euros back? I wouldn't be surprised if they was a big scam going on here.

ticketmaster again...they always do.
they get the booking fee
interest on your money
and they wont rush to refund, they will hold onto for as long as possible..

they ripped loads of us bowie fans off over the Isle of Wight gig 4 years ago.

took the money knowing full well they didnt have tickets for us all,we worked out they had over £200,000 of our money for over 3 months,,,nice interest on that money,,plus £3 booking fee of everyone

Ok I am no Ticketmaster fan but they are refunding from friday 9am. So they are hardly taking an age to refund. If anyone made any money it was the press, the radio stations, the tv stations. The all get paid for the advertising regardless of the cancellation.

At least the majority of us will get our money back...how will it work for anyone who purchased their tickets through Ebay?
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

OMG I have just realised that some poor bastard in Ireland has a warehouse full of about 60,000 Tee shirts and tour programmes. Doubt Prince will have paid him.

Doubt it. The Dublin ones would have the Dub date on it.
