Prince won´t be coming to Århus before after this summer:

Prince´s management has informed Knud Bjerre, that the European-concerts (i don't know if that means Dublin as well?) will be moved to another period.

This was posted in another thread.....I know I'm the eternal pessimist but what does all this mean???? No tour??? No Dublin????? mad

You? A pessimist? You always try and see the bright (fashion-wise) side!
I really hope Dublin won't be cancelled! And I doubt it even.

It was as close as could be - we are several people on here who have it from reliable sources. It looks rather like a cancellation than a postponement! (Sorry if I'm being a bit miffed it's just that I was soooo certain he would play in DK).

Well, I hope for you guys that Croke is still on, especially with all the people flying in from all over. Unfortunately I won't be among them as I have work commitments I can't escape that day... neutral

Sad for you Geo sad but I have to agree with Barbara7 it was never confirmed really. It was rumoured he would play 3 gigs this summer.

But he is playing Ireland. Which in itself is enough to keep the org happy for a while. It might not be in your house but we do have another large scal Prince gig in europe this summer. Luckily I live in Ireland, but last summer I spent weeks in london watching the o2 gigs. Colour me purple, and slap me with a symbol tamborine.

As Madonna says.. tick tock tick tock... Roll on Croaker!

I guess there's no harm in telling it now, but already in March, June 20th was confirmed by SonyBMG. Even ticket prices were set. And when you asked people within the business, and people from the org did, there was no doubt that the concert was on. Of course that's not official, but it's darn pretty close.

What I am speculating now is whether Croke Park is still on!? Didn't it have a slow sales start?

I'm thinking that maybe they cancelled the rest of the tour to fill up Croke Park? And if this doesn't happen soon, maybe they will cancel Croke Park too? I certainly don't hope so... confused

Come on... We all know that, as far as Prince is concerned, there is no "reliable sources" except Prince himself, and that he does exactly what he wants.

ON! It leaves it ON!
What's with the negativity towards the Ireland Gig going ahead. Jeeze just cause he is not playing in your country. The Gig is big news here. Thousands of tickets sold in Irelands biggest venue. Denmark was not even officially ON.

No negativity - just trying to figure out what is going on and speculating on what motives lie behind. I'm sure you would do the same if Croke Park was cancelled (and now you'll say, but Denmark was never officially on, and I will say, but I got inside info that the deal was already sealed).

Enjoy the concert! And write us poor envious Danes some great reviews wink

Peace!

And I say " It was not officially announced"

And then I say " Tickets were not put on sale, so you cannot compare Croke Park gig with Denmark" "

And then I finish with " You cannot cancel something that was not confirmed in the first place "

Go Dublin!

hammer hammer

No negativity you say?!..

The evidence:

1. "I hope for you guys that Croke is still on"
2." I am speculating now is whether Croke Park is still on!? Didn't it have a slow sales start?"
3. " maybe they will cancel Croke Park too?"
4. " You're right...! So where does that leave Croke Park!?"
5. " you would do the same if Croke Park was cancelled"

"NEGITIVITY...NO!..HAVE YOU HAD YOUR MINUS SIGN TODAY?"

Peace 2u 2
