Eire is not part of the UK so why should it be listed on Ticketmaster UK home page? Concerts in Ireland rarely get promoted in a foreign country. It will be sold out and thankfully it will be done so with mostly Irish people and fans. Looking for a new man. Freaks need not apply. Freeeks can tho ;-p

Ticketmaster.co.uk lists gigs in other countries as well if you choose. http://www.ticketmaster.c...UK%20dates if you don't see it change country choice. But not on the home page. You have to change location or search for it. But as it is an Irish concert it is on not on any other territories Ticketmasters home page. Just like any other Irish gig is not mentioned on the UK TM site and why no UK gig is mentioned on TM.ie front page. Looking for a new man. Freaks need not apply. Freeeks can tho ;-p

I saw a really small advert in the Daily Mail, or Mail on Sunday - not sure which It was alongside other concerts - maybe under Ticketmaster? It really was tiny though.... and a few weeks ago now

its just that someone said its all over the music channels I havent seen any ads at all.
Theyre still selling the lower tier seats so im guessing they will need to advertise a bit more. Noone sells concerts on a wish and a prayer you gotta advertise. With no fan site how do they expect people to know about the concert? walk with crooked shoes www.myspace/syblepurplelishous

The real world OUTSIDE of dublin however is another matter! "My God it's full of Stars"

Just back from two weeks in Dublin.
There were ads every night in the main press and I also saw the same ad in Hot Press which is Ireland's main music mag. The ad is the classis Earth Tour one na dit was always very visible. Loads of big gigis in Dublin this year so I didn't feel any major excitment over Prince....hard to tell.. My two weeks home gave me a chance to shift through some old papers and magazines in the attic. To my joy found loads of old mags from the 80s which Prince in them ( Rolling Stone, Record Mirror! and the like). Had a fab time reading through them!

Must admit I was looking through my old albums (LPs) this morning, no Prince stuff just lots of adam ant, Japan and souxie and the banchees! and all my mums old beatles stones LPs - originals. But I discovered my dearest Duran Duran Rio album was missing Ive just got the inner sleeve!!! some gits nicked it!!! probably my brother! I wasnt into prince until 1984! PS still havent seen an ad in London yet. I thought they might, as it gets closer, maybe they are keeping it tight to Ireland afterall. walk with crooked shoes www.myspace/syblepurplelishous
