advice once in dublin

FOR ALL THOSE THAT LIVE IN DUBLIN, ADVICE PLEASE! I'M STAYING AT THE TRAVELODGE RATHMINES, WOTS IT LIKE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HOW FAR FROM CROKE PARK, CITY CENTRE?? ALSO GENERAL ADVICE OF WHERE TO AVOID AND WHERE TO GO FOR A FEW LIGHT REFRESHMENTS WHILST I WATCH THE CLOCK TICK AWAY UNTIL 'P' DAY!!! CHEERS
AND ON THE 7TH DAY OF THE 6TH MONTH..GOD CREATED FUNK!!!

Rathmines is an area wih plenty of bars (very much student area) you could walk into the city centre or get a bus in from there no bother. Croke park is the other side of the city so it would be a fair distance but again no bother to get a bus or taxi.

Just to add here is a map view of the main city area. Croke park is up the top right and you can see the road out to rathmines at the bottom centre. Also there is a number 14 bus that goes from rathmines to parnell square which is at the top of o'connell street

if its possible try 2 stay n the city centre....its easier.
U prob have a deposit paid on the other place,,,cancel it n book the gresham n dublin city r book the 4 seasons where wolfy will b gettin funky after the aftershow....heh heh
