Blocks behind the stage

Anyone get any of those blocks, i.e. 301, 336, 501, 536 etc, cant be happy with those, especially the upper tier ones. How much did ya pay if you did.

Actually me bad. I forgot that the map of the venue is not accurate. The stage will actually be situated on 'Hill 16'. Not actually on the pitch like in the map. So the other blocks can go on sale but those closest to the back side of the stage will be restricted so the do not go on sale. But having been to gigs in Croke before people do actually be in those stands.

Oh that's interesting....about the stage that is, that would mean the stage is slightly further away than most people thought, where d'ya get that info from then, Ticketmaster??

NO just a regular at gigs in Croke Park. The GAA do not allow people to build stages out onto the hallowed turf of the Stadium. That is the reason why Madonna did not perform the Confessions there. She needed pitch area. The big wigs upstairs in GAA said no. Madonna said yes. They said NO. LOL The first time Madonna has ever heard the word no. lol
U2 has a part of their stage on the pitch but not as much as they wanted. Hence they had to elevate the whole stage a few meters to fit onto Hill 16. U2 got permission as well they are the Princes of Ireland. lo

So no Prince will not have his stage on the pitch. It will be on the Hill and and be higher as a consequence than normal. So in all honesty the Gold Circle front will be shit as the stage will be so high. I want pitch standing, if I cannot get gold circle, so I can get close enough but still be far enough to see into the stage for full effect.

Cheers studal, sounds like the best views will be towards the back of the lower tiers if its a very high stage, the blocks near the front that is 332-334 and 303-305, glad I haven't got gold circle now and I'm over 6 feet tall lol wink

The area where the stage is is actually a standing terrace called "Hill 16" there isn't any seating there and the stage will probably be built backing on to it.
