Happy to be proven wrong but that's what I feel. And even if he did, I'd bet money on him NOT adding an extra Dublin date.

Emails addresses would still be in his system. I got an e-mail last year to re-subscribe to his website and when I did I was offered the 31,21 tickets in block 111 - good view and good sound. Let's put it this way, if I was going to the Dublin gig, I wouldn't be onto Ticketmaster at 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Nuff said.

They might claim a sell out, but we all know what that can mean! With so many Europeans having got there fix only 6 months ago, I think charging anything more than £31.21 for such a poor large venue will put off a lot of casuals and hardcore alike. At nearly £100 to stand in a field somewhere near the front does not pump me up. I'm thinking of Letting my £10 flight rot and go to Paris or not at all (never thought I'd say that). .

Well yes, it has put me off but most on here seem to be well up for it. We'll see. As I said in another thread though, I really can't see it being a sell-out. At least the (possible) Paris venue is nearly half the size of Croke Park so may be a better option but still a stadium at the end of the day and I just really don't like stadium gigs at all. Plus being so close at the 02 and Indigo2 aftershows, nothing will ever touch that. Nothing.

I agree and I wouldn't want some crappy stadium gig to wipe out the memories of those Summer nights South of the River

I'm with the majority on this thread, I'm a no-go. My last stadium was Wembley (when was that?). I remember the opening with MT/Cat comming down on a swing pretending to be P, but that's all I can remember, so it couldn't of been that special.
Good luck to all who go, I think if the aftershow gets publicised then that might be worth it as a stand alone gig.

I definitely want to go, but I will not be scrambling for tickets wednesday morning.
Even if it sells out at the venue within an hour, that does not mean sold to actual people! It includes the 50,000 tickets that have been allocated to ticket agencies nationwide. I can not believe the price of the tickets either compared to the 31.21 of the O2 shows, also the chances of,even after the venue selling out and us all having bought our expensive ticket that 3121.com suddenly reappears offering us all cheap exclusive tickets is way too high! With the recent shows, the high ticket price, travel and accomodation(or are there 80,000+ residential Irish fans that I'm ignoring here?), and the amount of fans still brooding over his recent actions against them, I think we may have an opportunity to be a bit more choosey with our ticket options. Whatever option you choose - Good Luck - And May the Funk be with You! 0+> Life's a Parade! LoveLife, LoveSexy!

I still won't be going as it's on a Monday night so no can do but with the flights being so cheap to Dublin at the moment from the UK the aftershow alone would be well worth it (if there is one of course!)

What pised me off then was that Prince announced it was his only UK date - hence i booked tickets - then he announced a number of arena dates - Birmingham NIA, Sheffield Arena - same set but these were brilliant. Prince and stadiums - no!!

- OMG!!! Virgo, please keep us/me updated on this one if you got insider information, or even start a thread on Prince in Denmark. I live in Denmark and have been to 5 Prince concerts in my life so far, but never one in Denmark (yet!). And yes, also missed every single afterparty! Will appreciate any info you've got... -

Sorry don't know much more. Wish I did! Don't even know if the source is reliable. What I've heard is that two different danish cities are currently negotiating with Prince for a June 12 concert. As the danes will know, in recent years there has been quite a bit of competition between venues in Copenhagen and in different cities in Jylland, when it comes to bringing big artist to Denmark. So at least that part makes the story reliable. The date sounds reasonable as well. But we can only wait and hope

Have also heard June 14 mentioned now, for a show in Denmark.
No further details unfortunately
