On reflection of 2007, one thing stands out in my mind. Naturally the highlight was the great concerts & aftershows but sharing these great moments with you all was unforgettable. A special thanx to those that made the impossible possible, you know who you are

To all of you I got to know in that short space of time, I wish you all a very happy 2008.

Glad to see that you decided to stay with the Org despite all the hatin' that was going on. It was getting on my last nerve too!

I hope I get to meet up again with all the great people I have had the pleasure of sharing such a monumental Prince experience with.

The next event would be the Dawns boat party I guess. Hope you can make it mate.

i loved the time on here during the summer and havent been visiting as often since all the pfunk stuff it just left a sour taste after so much fun.

it was so exciting to read about the concerts and aftershows and everyone sharing their experiences made it so alive for those who couldnt go to them all.

memories:

the funny links and the chase for spotting prince under a pseudonym, all the hilarious threads and all the cute orgers thinking they were talking to him


All the weird secretive cryptic stuff on 3121

prince thinking that we all actually understood all that

fantastic aftershows phenominal concerts

converting friends who were uninitiated to the sound that is prince

seeing a tiny insight into a much discussed figure during his live performances - priceless,

all the tripe that was argued over here on the org as tho life itself depended on it

feeling 18 years old again

crashing the stage on the first nite, clambering over chairs and actually - heaven forbid! - standing on them, prince smiling and loving every second

prince saying i see some of you have contraband at his last nite aftershow whne he spotted some balcony people with glo stix

and ah yes the whole fun that was the glo stick project!!!!! brilliant

surreptitiously buying them outside to only find them given out anyhow!!!!


ahhhhh what a blast -

somehow i dont think there will be another experience like that one - but you guys, thanks for all the memories and its good to see some old 'faces' back on here.

And don't tell the missus (who wasn't there) but the last concert and aftershow was one of the best nights ever. Meeting all the Orgers and finding myself at a legendary Prince aftershow, just four people back from the front of the stage....I've dreamed of that moment since I first became a fan many years ago. Y'all remember "I can't let you go home fired up, full of attitude"...cue Anotherloveholeinyohead at 4:00 in the morning.....what a moment!

This thread makes me smile..... Summer 2007 will be remembered not only for the amazing Prince main and aftershows, but also for all the cool, friendly people i got to meet and annoy

Hello! This summer wasn't just about Prince at the 02, it was the whole vibe which went with it - the excitement of logging on here every minute of every day looking for snippets of information, and then getting the chance to meet loads of you and put faces to your org names. The whole org community who came together on line and in person was just priceless and made it what it was. Hope to see new and old faces at The Dawn boat do, but I'm not going on the boat on the Saturday (boats and me don't mix) but my brother (Mentalist) did get me a ticket for the Friday night bash so looking forward to catching up with you all.

Happy New Year to all you lovely o2 orgers!!!!! Just to add to what you guys have already said, it was great to meet you in the summer of 07, for a few weeks the o2 was a second home, logging on to the TM site felt like a very guilty secret - being constantly caught out by my boss trying to get more tickets for shows!! The final show and aftershow being THE highlight for me (more champagne next time guys!!!)

Have booked my place on the boat and will be looking forward to catching up with you then

Still skipping and dancing round my house. The shows were def the best thing to happen in 2007. I miss it. Especially this week for some reason?

Was just unparallel to meet/be in the prescence of so many PRince fans new and old over 21 nights, simply magical.

My sister lives there but she didn't get to go to any concert because she was here back at home visiting for all of August, then couldn't afford to go afterwards.
