Exactly what I said in the first place, dependant on ticket value a buyback service at the box office for up to two thirds of the face value, all tickets to be resold at face value Rita, there are always between 50 - 100 tickets held back on the day, plus the promoter sometimes releases tickets no longer required for the guest list I asked at the box office on the last night (I was there before six and they were adamant they had none and that none would be available at all on the night "C'mon y'all - let me hear you sing, c'mon y'all, shake, c'mon y'all, jump" - Yes Prince -

There must be huge numbers of equally frustrated people out there - so much for customer service. "C'mon y'all - let me hear you sing, c'mon y'all, shake, c'mon y'all, jump" - Yes Prince -

To be honest, the shows I saw were fairly disappointing compared to what I am used to from Prince, so having a few drinks with friends old friends I haven't seen in a long time was the best entertainment I had. As for drunk fools, I find people are fools if they are fools, being drunk or not does not have anything to do with it, as demonstrated by yourself. Nice to know that you felt you had to attend another disappointing show just to get a little more booze in your belly. I found plenty of people enjoying themselves without having to resort to alcohol. In future why not try your local pub that's what I do, no need to piss fools like me off by walking around an arena like a drunk twat when you can so easily do it elsewhere. I'm sorry you felt that you had to resort to having a few drinks to get your entertainment if you felt the shows were not up to your standard then why go, just think what you could of gotten from the local for £31.21? Welcome 2 wolfys lair!! Make love not war!!!

As I said, I was fairly disappointed by the 2 shows I saw, but thats compared to previous tours, but thats a hell of a level to reach, a disappointing Prince gig is still pretty much better than any other artist performing, I just got the feeling he was going through the motions abit, and there wasn't the same spark there. I also went to 2 aftershows where he didn't appear, so that was pretty frustrating, I did my bit and got there, Prince didn't unfortunately, so yeah, that makes ya disappointed. The original question on this thread is who felt they got compensated, I think I did ok out of it, I had a great night out with some good friends I hadn't seen for a long time. Imagine what I could have got from the pub for the price I paid, £495.00 I think it worked out at for 2 VIP tickets including TM charges, they you can add on flights and hotels. As for a drunk twat, from your manner and approach on here, that's the only way you'll be able to get any twat

Yes the ticket release was sporadic, the guest tickets that were uncollected were not released until around 8 pm Better then them remaining unused at all I guess No good for anyone trying to plan a night out though

I've got the same view as you over the O2 concerts, I'm glad I just went to 2 gigs and 2 aftershows, he never showed up at the aftershows and the gigs were good, but not a patch on previous tours, I'm glad I didn't break the bank and do 15 nights or something, due to work commitments that wasn't possible, but I was temptied, after what I saw of the O2 tour I have no regrets at just doing the 2 nights. I remember going to my last night on 31/08 and leaving at 3am, I normally come out of a Prince gig wanting more and looking for extra night tickets, but after the gig and the NPG sending me too sleep at the aftershow, I had no desire to see more shows on this tour, didn't feel I was missing anything, only thing I would have liked to see is Prince at an aftershow, but with 2 no shows at the Indigo I wouldn't give the little sh*t more money so he can go out and party on town with my cash !!!!

Still received nothing from AEG (although I was told that the cheque was on it's way) but I'm not going to accept a refund of £31.21 per ticket. I've sent another complaint letter to Ticketmaster and if they don't respond in a satisfactory manner I will be going through the small claims court next week.

Got a cheque from AEG for £62.42 with their bog standard letter today. This was for the totaly non-event of a vip night and Dr John aftershow x 2.
I want to return the cheque and sue, but I need advice first before I act though.

I want to return the cheque and sue, but I need advice first before I act though. Return the cheque. Then go back to ticketmaster, send them a letter.. or drop it in at their head office in leicester square(which is where i am going to go) issue an ultimatum. Give them 7 days to respond. Then small claims against ticketmaster, who will in turn have to claim the money back from aeg live. dr.john and vip are two seperate cases though. Do not lump them all into one.

I also received a cheque today for the comedy sum of £62.42, which in my case is even more of a joke because I actually purchased 3x VIP tickets so did not even get the basic ticket value of £93.63.
Will definitely be putting a small claim through online but gonna have to think about the best way to do it & check out what everyone else on here is planning to do...
