I wanted a 'wanna be your over' t-shirt but the fabric was so thin.

Real shame

It is very thin. I could get arrested for indecent exposure if I wear it out somewhere. lol

Thats what I was worried about!!

I bought a t-shirt - the D&P one. Real nice I think - its thin fabric yes - and slim fit - but a whole lot nicer than a baggy "normal" t. I luv my t smile

Only regret I have concerning shopping merchandise at O2 concerns the fact, that I didn't buy the perfume (grrr)...and I didn't buy the pillowcase (stupid me!)...and maybe another t. Oh lawd...come back soon Prince!
Feels so good it must b a crime...

You should have bought a Symbol tambourine - a snip at just £55!

It's hanging on the wall and every time I see it I feel a warm glow - my wife thinks I am crazy though smile

I bought one too, and I when I brought it home I got a "you're crazy" look, but I have bought t-shirts at concerts before and rarely wear them - maybe in bed, so I am glad I went for a bit of wall art that can come out when Im doing my party piece, lol lol

I bought the t-shirt with the image from Parade on it and I absolutely love it. Normally concert tees are designed for large men or they're "girlie" in a sort of unflattering 90s belly free way but this one is long and fitted. I'm in love. It is definitely worth 30 quid to have Prince on my boobs.

here here i got that one yes lovely having him on your boobies all day

I learned from my mistake in spending £15 on a Lovesexy crop top thing back in '88 (I'm a hairy arsed bloke, what was I thinking???).

This time round I bought a symbol pendant, took the chain off, and it now hangs proudly on my key ring.

I made my own for to wear at the final to shows - for less than half the price of the available shirts. Simple stuff, but I'm happy with the design, plus it's a unique item!

Oh and Prince totally read it on the 20th during Musicology. Made my night did that.

I would have loved a t-shirt but I refused to pay more for one than I paid for a concert ticket! I'm sure if they had made them cheaper more people would have bought them. I ended up buying a necklace and a programme (I always buy a programme at concerts). If they had a shirt with the tour dates on at the shows I attended I might have been more likely to cough up the cash.

Do you know why he changed his mind about THAT Tee .. he happened to drive by a "Larger Lady" wearing it on the way to the next gig..He didn't like the way his face was distorted over those larger boobies..!! (True story y'all)..

Btw.. did anyone see "The Twinz" buying their own Tees on last night..around 6:30 pm main merch stall..the band and all of the crew bought the remaining merchs at the end of the gig to take home for friends and fams..! I don't think Firebrand will have any thing left to sell..

And me I am now the proud owner of the last two remaining GOLD SYMBOLS that were on the Merch stall..( any one on here got one/any of the "missing" other three..???)

Well there are thousands now in storage of the withdrawn design, so lets hope someone sees sense and sticks them up for sale or they are going to become the worlds most expensive dusters

The T Shirts are tight. I bought the Planet Earth cover one, and by the time I had had got it on, Prince looked more like Lionel Ritchie.

Ok, I'm joking. But I would make this point - I am lucky enough to have money to spend and it was burning a whole in my pocket as I headed to the merchandise stand on my first night. All I bought was the programme and necklace. I would happily have paid top dollar for quality T Shirts or other knick-knacks. It all looked a bit cobbled together, I thought.

The only truth is, despite it being the best selling t shirt, after the first night he had it withdrawn from sale

One thing it does show is he is not money fixated

"the ONLY Truth ?"....perhaps my info came from the same place as you info about it being the best seller after only one night ( which I also know is true !) .

Another truth.. photos of the merch stall were being sent back to "P" for his approval..DAILY re the positioning of the candles/ cushions and drapes lol ( he wanted it to look as much like an NPG store as possible)

So come on who stole three of the GOLD SYMBOLS that were hanging up there..??? lol

Your version of events isnt too far from the truth

There was a discussion over changes to the merchandise stand but there were no photographs taken

Some changes were made such as the addition of vases and flowers, and the removal of lighting

The O2 is closed to the public for a certain amount of time per day and people can go where they like in peace and quiet and check on whatever they want themselves

I bought one of these T-shirts on the 1st night and didn't realise they were removed from sale until reading this thread tonight (Sep 28th). Thought, in my opinion, it was by far the most masculine t-shirt (and maybe the guitar 1) and also had a back print which the guitar Tee didn't have, Plus was £20, all others were £25+ so it was the cheapest and can't have anything to do with money. It might end up being a rarity, but I could be dreaming!

It is a rarity, they were only sold for one night, the rest were shipped back to the USA
