So Prince played at 14 aftershows. That means I was lucky enough to see half of them, so I can't grumble about that at all.

5 out of 14 ain't bad for me I suppose (& they were all full on 90+ minute performances), and maybe you can't count the 5 minutes he came on with Nikka Costa. I don't think the legendary ones even started until a week into the shows.

I counted 13 the other day. The Nikka Costa one was just a guest spot. How long did he play for on the opening night? 20 mins? 30 mins?

Opening night he was onstage for about 30 minutes.

I didn't see any

I went to 2 and he didn't play at either.

I went to 7 aftershows. 1 was a no show (Dr. T), 2 the NPG turned up without Prince and the others were with Prince.

Was lucky enough to see him invade Beverly Knight's set and fulfil her dream, have Commonn on stage rapping Contraversy, to have him play guitar in the balacony of the indigo singing Everyday People (my favourite show) and of course the final aftershow which was so masterful and after almost 3 hours he was last man standing at 4.15am.

Every aftershow brought something different, even the ones with just the NPG.I'd never previously been to any of his aftershows which everyone had said were totally different to his mainshows. Damn how they were right!!

Can't wait until 2012.

I went to 2 and he played both! The 6th and 9th September aftershows... with the 9th lasting 2 and a half hours.. can't complain about that!
