Chances of a surprise gig anyone? So after all this, what -realistically - are the chances that the man would do another surprise gig at Koko, Jazz Cafe or anywhere else...?
Does anyone have any suspicions or inside knowledge? Does anyone even know how long he will stay in London? To be honest, music is his life and blood, and he can't stay in any place for much longer than a week without a jam somewhere.... It been one helluva summer!!

ok, i had friends who worked at koko who told me he was possibly going to do 10 more shows there (this was back in may)
really don't know what came of that, i think maybe when he saw the indigo2 he thought it acceptably plush...

Think we would have heard by now if there was one? It's getting on a bit. I hope there is though! Not quite ready for this to all finish yet...

I don't think the initial expectation was that they'd sell the O2 out for 21 nights. I firmly believe that they were going to do what they could there and then go for the smaller venue for the later date. This would make sense of the info your friends have.

If you remember the initial press conference, only the early O2 dates were announced with the 21 nights announcement. I think they just kept adding more O2 dates as the tickets kept selling and selling. Can you imagine how daft he would have looked if he announced 21 dates at the O2 and could only fill it for 7. Considering how badly his albums have been selling over here I'm still staggered that he did it. RIP

I don't know how this fits in with the proposed 10 nights at Koko, but I work at the Albert Hall and he was firmly booked to do 8 nights there in September until that initial run of O2 dates sold out so quickly. To have seen Prince in that space would have been amazing

Cos he is scheduled to play in Moscow on September 29, so it surprises me to hear he has left Europe, only to come back in 1 week. How did you find out?

Whenever, I want to hear that track, its the version from this show I reach for. Played a rocking version of endorphine machine too, didn't he? Except, I remember vividly during his '95 birthday gig he slagged Clapton off just after he'd played the Albert Hall. Maybe he doesn't want Claptons sloppy seconds!!!
