Flicking through my Albums today making my dinner and I picked out Purple Rain and put on Take Me With U first. Now I was never a fan of this song, until I heard it live and my mate told me what it was and I love it now!

Others include; Girls and Boys, Baby Im a Star, Pop Life and Lets Go Crazy.

What about you guys?

Black Sweat....it sounded awesome live though. Wish the album version had more of a Dirty Mind-era feel to it.

3121, Girls and Boys and Peach didn't do much for me until I heard them live. I love 'em all now - infact, Girls and Boys was the highlight for me on Sept 9th

Cream and 7. The funked up versions are amazing and definitely two of my live faves now.

Well i wouldnt say i wasn't to fond of it but it was never majorly on the radar so to speak, but CONTROVERSY has blown me away during the concerts i've attended.

If fact i'd go as far as saying it's my concert song so far, all depending what he plays on the 21st! (SR!, SR!, SR!, SR!)

Take Me With U for me. Was never that fussed with it on the record but loved it when I first heard him do it on the NUDE tour. Great singalong.

You got the look really surprised me - again - I liked it when it was in the charts years ago but i would never purposely listen to it but we went completely balistic during the whole song - it was too funky! I always loved if I was your Girlfriend so I was over joyed to have heard him sing that twice now...boo hoo - if only there was a third time boo hoo hoo. I missed the start of the concert on the 11th (don't ask I find it hard to deal with) and when I heard he opened with Purple Rain I was like "whatevah" but when he played it on thursday and all the repeated "wooo hooo hoo o hooo"s at the end - I didnt want it to end. I suppose I had a think about Purple Rain because of an ex - I remember slow dancing with him and he sang that bit "I never wanted to be your weekend lover, I just wanted to be some kinda friend" and we split up soon after so anytime I heard Purple Rain those line still cut deep. I'm very happily married now tho and realise that I was never really in love with my ex so it was strange to hear that song without feeling that stingin pain....a healing experience

Dont laugh but purple rain...I really didnt like it that much but on the 14th Aug it had me in tears I was really really broken down and had to sit through the whole ensamble my god it moved me!
