she has been one of the greatest associates / singers he's had on stage. Aside from that amazing voice her big smile and enthusiasm has been a total joy and really added to the experience.

Agreed - she has a phenomenal voice. I was blown away by her at Koko and over the run of main and aftershows she has only increased my appreciation for her.


I have to admit though - when she really gets into it she can't help reminding me of a though!

I was going to do a thread on the same topic...I think she is absolutely bloody brilliant, a voice as good as (if not better than) Bonni & Rosie, with the stage presence & energy of Cat & Sheila...I love her, hope she's around for a while, I'd also buy a solo album if she ever does one!

I think that Marva and Shelby really come into their own during the aftershow. They are awesome!

i've had 'baby love' and 'rock steady' playing in my head loads this summer! fair play to her, the girl can sing!

can't give her big love at the last two shows as i'm not there, but i will at fris aftershow!

O.K. so suddenly at the end of Shelby's set on the 21st aftershow, Prince did the chant for us 'a star is born, a star is born etc'!, glad to see that at lesast Mr. P was payin' attention.

Shelby is great she has an amazing voice and gets the crowds going i definately would go and see her at her own show if she did one

though her hats did seem to get bigger as the shows went on

damn shelby is awesome and how they manage to stay dancing in them heels 4 so long beats me ... .....clap your hands stomp your feet....at the end of the aftershow on the 21st think my feet were numb from all that foot stomping and hand clapping but worth evey bit of ache and pain and would do it all again ....not forgeting the raw throat after all the singing and screaming also was slightly deaf for a cpl of hours due to b/f whistling in my ear most of the night....
