My little sister has been to 2 main shows and the first aftershow, and my oap mum is coming on Thursday to get madly funky. Hopefully the pacemaker will last.... Veni, Vidi, Funki. | |

my older brother introduced me to Prince in 1987 when I was 9. At the time he only had the dirty mind album (which my mum banned me from listening to) and Sign O the Times. In 1988 he bought me my first LP - lovesexy.
My sister is also a huge fan and in the late 1980s we would spend our travelling holidays singing to u got the look (me doing prince's bit and her doing sheena eastons), lets go crazy, darlin nicki, etc. My dad has become a fan in recent years. He has had no choice as me and my sister have spent the past 20 odd years talking about prince ALL the time. This year on sept 1st me, my sister, my older brother (who introduced me to prince) and my younger brother (a prince sceptic) all went to see Prince together after 20 years of family singalongs, prince arguments (who's the best fan, what are his best tunes, etc) and going individually to various Prince concerts. Only my dad missed out as he lives in the states. However, me and my sister did go to 07.07.07 with him so this year it has definitely felt like I belong to a "prince family" OH FONKY LONDON... | |

Took my pops 2 Koko back in may.
Took mum 2 2 main shows & aftershows, sister 2 2 main shows & uncle 2 1 main show. Big hit with all of them. My mum is hooked! | |
