According to O2 staff this Sunday, there will be full film crews unlike the previous nights which have been filmed for the 4 arena screens / Prince's private use

Of course anything could happen and plans change, though for now this sounds encouraging!

Oh I hope not - that'll mean he reverts back to a standard type setlist with few surprises due to their wanting to capture the best (i.e. most rehearsed) songs that have been done throughout the run.

The glowsticks'll look cool though

Clearly he has heard about the glowsticks and wants to make sure he captures it in all it's purple glowy glory.

How cool! Shame we're up in 101 for Friday show, we've been various front rows for the other three mainshows we've done. Quite fancy being immortalised shaky my juicy juice!
Was ON STAGE with Prince at the aftershow on Sunday and am still on a MASSIVE high...what a shame hubby could take no piccies, fully understand though...

Can't WAIT for Friday.

We've had a great run of 19 nights so to have a Tour DVD is the perfect souvenir for all those who came along, as well as for all the thousands who couldn't... and who's to say there won't be a few surprises either onstage or in the setlists

Oh I seriously hope so.... I know he did the concerts for our memories, but my night there was so bloody amazing it feels like a complete dream and that I never actually went!!!! It would be fantastic to have a dvd just to sit back and watch to relive the concert instead of relying on our memories! No matter how many people I try and explain the concert and the aftershow I went to on the 9th, words really can't describe it! It would be great to get the non-Prince friends/family we know to watch it and prove that Prince really is a genius and God and an incredibly sexy, sexy man!!! (am I getting carried away now?!!)

This is great news. It means I don't have to resort to buying a dodgy bootleg from eBay and PlanetEarth can go to the show without the need for a big black coat.

Sorry, yeah, I did mean it'd be cool to have a DVD - especially for all those people that weren't able to go, just everyone's got themselves a bit worked up that these last shows were going to be different...

He should have filmed mid-way through I think once they'd worked out what works in the set in what order and had got the pacing of the show sorted.

Not only do we have the final two shows of the "tour" with a well practised routine and professional equipment, but we also have the possibility of including the "rehearsals", and "outtakes" as slightly lesser quality versions from the monitor tapes.

Let's put it this way... I wouldn't be disappointed with a full concert of hits, and a dozen other songs taken from the previous nights.

*If* this shoot is happening and *if* the production people know about the purple glowstick plan, can they drop me a line? Because we have a few headaches here that would be instantly solved if I could get a quick word with them. We could then ensure that the glowstick effect during Purple Rain will look as good as it can.

Some sort of package with a CD or DVD of an aftershow and the 21 nights in London photobook that was mentioned on 3121.com would be splendid. But can NPG records get their act together long enough to release any one of these in good quality and at the right time?
