Just wondering if we can get together somehow and share the burden of flogging away at ticketmaster?? Or maybe set up an email group for letting people know when tix are on sale? Perhaps things will be easier now the 'currently not on sale' sign is back, in that we can see instantly by refreshing the page, although of course this could mean they are all gone, but I remain optimistic. We know this hasn't meant $hit in relation to all the other shows!

Yes I am in. Been checking all day after logging on about 2mins after they all sold again.

OK I work almost full time. I have Friday afternoon off. I therefore volunteer to patrol TM this Friday afternoon from 1.30 (I can look at other times but sometimes I am teaching and just can't be at the computer without getting fired)

Thinking about the email alert list idea... I think that is good. (How do we make sure there are no touts on it?

If we list times in 1 or 2 hr slots we can put our names beside them. Then if we set up an email list the person on shift at the time of sale can send out a quick message.

Does that sound ok or not?

I think we'd do better just to set up some kind of email alert, then it's every man/woman for themselves. At least then we each get to decide whether we want the seats we're offered or not, there's no postage issues, etc. Hopefully, if we're quickest off the mark, we'll be in there before the touts.

(One of the advantages of TM releasing tickets on the day is that it screws the touts, since there's no time to sell them via ebay, and touting at the venue is almost impossible. I rather wish TM would hold all the returns until the actual day.)

I'm just hoping a ticket will come up in the 72 hours before the show. Still relatively confident, despite missing out this morning. Less confident about the aftershow.

I have this sneaky suspicion that he might say goodbye at the main show on the 21st, with the Thursday night aftershow being his last. Time will tell.

Well, having been lucky myself the other day I'm keeping my eyes open for tickets for you guys. Unfortunately, due to a meeting, I missed this morning's releases - stupid work and stupid boss!

I'm still on the lookout for 21st aftershow tickets if anyone gets lucky with those.

There is a precedent for going out with a bang. He set up that enormous after-show at Bagleys after the last night of his tour ten years ago (ended up as the Sacrifice of Victor VHS)
