So disappointed

Went with my wife this evening (13th) for first time this tour. She's never seen him before but a big fan...i've seen him many times. We have waited for the last month and a half getting more and more excited and can't believe how let down we were.We sat in block 102 row a which are meant to be good seats. The view was great, no doubt about that, but we went(we're both professional musicians) to hear the music. The sound was terrible, so much bass and drums and boomy throughout. Couldn't make out any guitar solos, the brass or keyboards. And definitely couldn't really hear Prince. And I'm sure that the sound issues are the same throughout the arena.I have never been to a worse gig in my life for sound. We have great tickets for the last night but are definitely going to sell these now and go to the aftershow instead. Is the sound at the Indigo better...it couldn't be any worse.

I've sat in various places around the arena, and I have to say the best sound is about 10/15+ rows back, facing the front (blocks 105-108???) Last night I sat Row C 111 right at the end of the horn bit, sound was poor but it didn't ruin my night thankfully.

We sat in Block 101 row N last night and the sound there seemed to be so much better than Block 110 when we were there last week! We scrambled our way down to row A of Block 101 last night for the final encore and the sound was nowhere near as good. Don't know if others found the this too?

Sat all round the arena now - worse sound was row A blocks 106/107 (but best view)

best - blocks 116! Everyone moaned about those seats because its' behind the stage but enjoyed my show there probably the best as the sound was as good as it gets in an arena like the 02 (and i'm a sound engineer myself so very fussy about these things!)

Sound varies massively. On the floor (under the speakers), it's appalling. But further away it tends to be pretty reasonable for an arena.

Unless your tickets are in the same seat again, I'd recommend you keep them and go again. It'll be the final night and it's going to be a great party, even if the sound is slightly off. And it'll be a different show too.

ive found that if the UK rock and Roll hall of fame clip at the start is muffled and you cant make the sound out whilst looking at the screen - the sound isnt gonna be too good. Ive sat lower tier for 4 shows and on my first go in 106 - front of the round, the sound has been the best yet and okay for a Arena, there was a bit where i couldnt make out the opening of the solo to "u got the look".

personally i would suggest that you do go final night - if not ill take em!

indigo has great sound as to be expected with a small club venue

It's a hockey arena, is anyone actually expecting good sound?! Some nights I've been it's sounded fantastic. Some nights appalling. Play that ludicrous high ceiling venue and the sound ain't gonna be good!

i've been to three shows same box everytime (quite high up) and there was lots more bass last night than the other nights - but could hear everything pretty well
"C'mon y'all - let me hear you sing, c'mon y'all, shake, c'mon y'all, jump" - Yes Prince -
"London do you feel for me what I feel for you"- yes Prince -
"Can I play my guitar now?" - yes please

How wierd. I was at the back of 105 and it was pretty bad, well nowhere near as good as when I was in 418 anyway.

It's weird I have sat all around the arena and not noticed any changes in the level of sound quality.

Maybe it was your first night of seeing him and you tend to scutinse it more intensely.
Shut up already, damn.
