Ok so like Prince is at the o2 (excuse me if this question is stupid im not a regular concert goerrrr...)
But like the other night Elton John was there right? did he have to perform on the Symbol? or do they put a WHOLE new stage out?

Again if this is a stupid questions LEAVE ME ALONE im only little lol.

I believe there was a UFC (cage fighting) event on saturday. Can you imagine them fighting on the symbol!

It only takes a couple of hours to take down a stage at the O2. They look fancy but actually its pretty simple bits of kit. they leave most of the lighting rig up in the ceiling though which is easy for P as he plays in the round and everyone else plays at the end. Hence you can have EJ on one night and P on the next. All the stage kit is stored by the entrance H in the big area there.

On the walk round to entrance H behind the blue hording is where they have been storing the stage I think because I saw a sign saying stage and a picture of the horn part of the symbol.

When you come down the stairs after the show you can see equipment (black box things) down below

yes, I saw all the boxes too, but they were for storing the empty boxes. they need to be kept away from the main arena. Luckily the O2 has plenty of storage space. I'll enquire about where the other stages are stored. I'm interested in this stuff, part of what I do for a living.

Maybe they just hoist it up with the ladders from the lighting rig, much quicker!

apparently they can take the stage down as soon as prince has finish and put a new one up by about 3am someone was saying in the aftershow que
