The highlight of my night, my tour, my year, my life....is that Prince held my hand at the aftershow, for what seemed like ages, but was probably about 2-3 seconds!!! Oh my god!!!! If anyone who was there saw... about half way through the show he came walking over to the left side of the stage to the fans (who were pretty loud and crazy) 'Freaks on this Side'! I just reached out my left hand to him, as he walked over by the steps, thinking he's probably just teasing us or at best he may high five, but its all a bit surreal but he reached out his hand and held my hand!!!! I was like this is too insane!!! When everyone saw that he grabbed my hand, there was a huge surge forward from the peeps behind me that I almost had to duck out of the way for flying hands! My two friends also got to touch his hand too. I'm still thinking OMG right now as I type this as I can't believe it happened!

He has very warm, soft hands by the way hehe. I can die happy. It may sound trivial or insignificant, but one of my dreams came true after 20 years. I don't ask for much in life! oh and I also got to smack Marva's tamborine twice, oo-er!!

We managed to get into the Indigo very quickly and got a fantastic standing place by the stage, by the left steps..... the crowd were hotting up dancing along to the DJ funky choons.... the Bootsy Collins dressed guy was getting his groove on and the really cool Prince look-a-like was posing with fans in his fine Prince replica white suit and fedora hat... imagine our shock and excitement when we heard a HUGE cheer and looked up to the upper balcony and saw Prince looking down with a big smile on his face waving to us down below!!! That was mental.. i don't think he's ever done that before, but he was dressed in his red outfit and looking like he was checking out the crowd and then he went and we thought YES!!! Come out and play for us.. you can't tease us with a brief visit... he looked like an angel from above up there haha. I was holding on to the steps metal banister mostly to hold me up (me legs were killing me from dancing too much all night!). We stayed positive and we have an in joke about 'Wah Wah (pedals) or no Wah Wah' as the indication that Prince would be performing or not.....thank god when the stage hands brought out the Wah Wahs!! A huge cheer came from the crowd.... I won't fill you in on set lists my brain is mush for reasons above! It was the most out of this world, awesome, incredible after show performance for me (so far) in terms of the crowd, the songs, soooo funky funky, it touches your soul! Prince's mood was fantastic. How cool was that surprise 2nd encore when half the club had left already!! Incredible.

Hi - I was on first row of balcony on left hand side and I saw him shake someones's hand - WOW u lucky lucky thing! - I had the most amazing night eva!!! Was about a metre away when he appeared on kings row - thought he was a look a likey at first cuz i never expected he wud show up with us meer mortals he he - and god he looked so..... young and perfect his features almost doll like!!
As for the show and aftershow performance - I was in heaven! Now on my third nite without much sleep i so tired but my brain keeps goin over and over the night and my heart races!
Did u c the bit when the guitar got passed into audience - I thought he had really donated it he he - prob as well they took it back imagine the fightin 4 that one

Off topic: what wah/s does he use? I know he uses a Digitech Whammy (3121 album) but it'd be interesting to know. He seems to use lots of Boss gear which is odd as they aren't exactly boutique pedals. Probably all about the notes you play instead of the tone you get I guess.

he uses a cry baby. he uses boss pedals on purpose as they are easy to find and replace if they become faulty. i have some detailed pix of both his pedal boards (small and full size) so it's easy to determine exactly what he uses

same happend with me at thw 28 8 07 aftershow, the one where he tore that muthafunkin guitar up, aftershow of the tour so far, just prince, corra and josh..fukin minted, around 6 others also got a handslap including my m8 jools, everyones hands were high and i couldnt reach, having pitty on a verticaly challanged brother he came down low and slaped mine, his hans r the softest ever, like a girls! when the last time he slated a roof! lol

When the house lights went on and everyone was leaving, I thought I'd mosey on up to the front of the stage to have a gander at his pedals.
I'm glad I did, cos out walks himself and kicks off one last song by stomping on the DS-1 right in front of me.
Not the same as having your hand grabbed, but for me it was something I'll never forget. Never thought I'd ever get that close to my hero.

I was there too, about 4 or 5 people back, just to the left of the main stage. I was so jealous when I saw him touching people's hands.

I also missed out on the guitar touching later on. Damn that guitar tech can run fast!
