Video footage before concert

On tues night they showed footage and interviews with Joni Mitchell,Randy Jackson etc,and I have to admit the hairs on the back of my neck stood up whilse watching this LOL. What I wanted to ask was is showing this footage a relatively new thing? Not read here about the footage being shown,only about the band coming out with P in a box. Both work well tho I do prefer seeing the footage biggrin

It's from his UK Hall Of Fame induction. He's opened with it both nights I've been on this tour and in 2004 he opened the Musicology shows in the US with the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame induction.
